I would like to say Thank you for all the support for the Port Neches-Groves Indians. You have been amazing on here. Several Indian fans have commented to me at the number of area schools supporting this seasons run. Last week I spent most of the time standing up between the two decks.I saw so many people representing their respective SETX schools. This past Friday night I saw someone from every school in SETX. A group of what look to be LCM football players, many from PAM, folks from Beaumont, WOS, Silsbee. Vidor, BC, Orangefield, many from Dayton, a guy from Crosby, several from Brenham, and a large contingent of Nederland Bulldogs there. I am in know way saying thats all these are the people I personnaly saw. First please if you make the game we welcome you, we thank you, and though I cant speak for everyone. I have been to many other teams games in my life. I remember driving to Houston to watch Central play in the Dome. Many years ago. I say all of this to say Thanks for your support not only on the game but the support from staff and members of the SETXSPORTS.COM site. You have been most gracious and covered us well. Thanks for the love and suppot.

Just an observation on the last 2 semi games. Last year when the clock struck 0, the players went wild celebrating and rushed the field. All that work and they achieved their goal to get to state. This year when Shea took the knee in victory formation, there were hugs and handshakes. A lot more subdued and businesslike celebration. They expected to win and expected to be back at state. They have unfinished business to take care of. It may take a near perfect game to win, but I don’t doubt they can pull it off.

This will be the biggest test for the Indians. We must play fundamental/Disciplined ball for 4 quarters.

SETX Football is a family! Like any family we have our individual disputes. However, rivals or not, we support any team going to the playoffs to do their best. Thank everyone for your support in the Indians run to state. God bless everyone through this Christmas season, in their travels & that it may be a blessed time for all this year! God made us all.

You just want to say, “I was a coach! Therefore, I’m right! Did I mention that I was a coach? Did ya’ll HEAR me that I was a coach?” It doesn’t change the fact that you’re wrong. Also, I hate to break it to you: You didn’t win 3 state titles. You road the coattails of a guy who did, and, by your own admission, the talent at North Shore had more to do with winning than the coaches. So, congratulations, I guess.

Pat Foster was so underrated as a coach that it's ridiculous. I remember that Duke game well. The Cards outplayed them for most of it.

Further, you’ve been bragging about your coaching experience from day 1, and you’ve made yourself a laughingstock. Newsflash: If you have to tell us you’re important, you aren’t. And, it’s obvious you need a few more years as a coach to learn something about football because every single take you have had on this site isn’t just wrong, but laughably so. It’s been great to witness. So, I think I do agree with you - Talent is the most important thing for a team, because if YOU were a coach, talent is the only explanation for North Shore’s success. They had to overcome you AND the other team. I guess we’re in agreement then.

Watching SOC on YouTube. The RB #21 Green is quick and elusive. Yikes. Not the biggest guy, but he can take a pop and bounce off tacklers. PN-G has seen some good RBs this season, but I don't think the Indians have seen anyone with his combination of quickness, vision, and the ability to slip away from tacklers. The SOC QB #18 reminds me of PN-G's #9...cool under pressure and making the right reads and throws. #18 can sling it. SOC defense is fast at all three levels, but I think PN-G's OL will be able to create some running lanes. The game will come down to PN-G stopping the run and PN-G winning some one-on-one battles in the passing game when SOC loads the box. Stopping the run is easier said than done. SOC has some DUDES on the OL and #21 zips right through their lanes. They are playing well. Glad PN-G has a shot to play the last 5A-DII game of the year and taking a shot at the defending champs. We've got a shot...what more can you ask for? Should be a good game. Tip of the cap to SOC coaching staff...they lost 11 scholarship kids from last season and they are back at the top, in the state championship. Impressive. P.S. One more thing. No turnovers this year. The Indians need to hold on to the ball. No safeties this year.
