Bout to head over to The Grove to finish off my week of high school basketball. After today, I will have watched 30 games in these last 4 days. After seeing Australia, Barbers Hill and Pollock Central today, my total of teams I have watched on the season so far will be 84. Trying to reach 100+ for 12 straight seasons.

I think because technically, the tournament committee had the Creed bracket listed as a round robin style set of games. But we know Silsbee won it. They beat everything in front of them.

Just some final thoughts. So did everyone enjoy having a shot clock? I know I did. Also, that little point guard for Windermere was something else. All of about 5'6 and couldn't be stopped. A shame his height will limit him at the next level. Arkansas has some really good basketball. Wonder if Silsbee will skip Dallas again next year for the King Cotton Classic. Silsbee, let's get ready for Vidor. It feels like it's been an eternity since we got a home game. I'm more excited for this than I probably should be because of that. And no more losses for the year now that we're stuck in 4A for the rest of the season.

I know this is tough but you have to be able to follow along. Unwoke mentioned the House J6 committee. LumRaiderFan noted that it (J6 committee) was another swing and a miss. What would they try next. My answer was nothing, they are out of power. My comment had nothing to do with the results of the committee and LRF’s comment about “the next” bogus change was obviously talking about a House investigation. Nobody mentioned the DOJ or any other federal crime that they can investigate at any time on their own authority. If that is too hard to follow: LRF-What will the Democrats in the House try next? I had a coach ask me how many games has Silsbee won in the playoffs the last several years and got me to wondering myself. In the last 8 seasons, Silsbee has won 40 playoff games. That's averaging 5 wins a playoff season. Here is the last 8 seasons: 2015 Regional finals (4-1) 2016 State finals (6-1) 2017 State Champs (7-0) 2018 State Champs (7-0) 2019 Regional finals (4-1) 2020 Regional semis (3-1) 2021 Regional finals (4-1) 2022 State semis (5-1) That's 7 regional final appearances in 8 seasons. 4 Regional champs 4 state tourney appearances 2 state championships 1 runnerup I think one would have to go back to the Port Arthur Lincoln days of the 80's and 90's to come up with a better playoff run here locally. If you go back to 2005, Silsbee has reached the regional finals 12 times in that 18 year span, winning the region 6 times. Made the regional tournament in 14 of those 18 seasons. Pretty phenomenal two decade run so far for Silsbee.

Lol, not with this coaching staff. I wouldn't trust them in tennis or golf. But, I've watched PA. play against BU and thought they played well and that they have descent coaches in basketball and football.theyre one of the teams I tilt my hat too.

Silsbee fought hard against FFA. To their credit FFA figured it out that most of the spot up 3 pt shooters for Silsbee couldn't get open on their own (talking about last season's team). So they guarded the 3 pt line. Harris and Miller were the only ones going to the bucket. Refs called some tacky tack files on Harris and he got in foul trouble... Plus FFA had a serious size advantage. That one guard they had was one of the better ballers in the state. He did his thing. I think he was a Senior and has gone on. They just recruit and load up again.

Criminally, the work has been from the bottom up, as is usual. Now, they’re getting closer to the top. You all keep hollering about Democrats. It’s the law now that’s working,not the politicians. Fostering insurrection is a lesser charge than conspiracy, and not as difficult to prove. Still a crime, and a conviction would invoke the 14th amendment, and the sorry sob would be disqualified from ever serving the government in any capacity again.

None. The Democrats are no longer in power. For those on the left, yes I know that technically the Republicans don’t take over for 6 more days. The Dems have less than a week to formulate an outrage, form a committee, issue subpoenas, get witnesses to a hearing and hear testimony, draw a conclusion and then take a vote….. all while missing the holidays in order to fake an outrage. To paraphrase, the Dems are no longer in power in the House.

Got to watch silsbee last year and think that they should have won state. Hated to see that faith family put together team win it.

What you call manipulation I call reality. I didn’t address individual topics and only drew the conclusion that if you want to use population percentages, it should always be used and not cherry picked for convenience. You might note that I never addressed any issues as to police shootings, welfare, etc. My only point was that it is disingenuous to cite racial percentages in one issue and completely disregard in another if it doesn’t fit a narrative. You must have a different definition of manipulation. But, your response doesn’t surprise me. If you can’t find a valid response, accuse the other person of manipulating. 😂
