After watching highlights of LH, the Indians will have their hands full. Their big OL pull & get in front of the RB quick. I see why they put up so many points. They run that Slot T like a machine. Indian LB’s will have a long and brutal night. And when the RB breaks free, they have blockers 30 & 40 yds downfield on the DB’s & Safeties. Not pulling any punches here, PNG D will need to play lights out. Going to need a few stops and put points on the board (almost) every possession. May be a last possession ball game. They’ll score, and a bunch. Simply have to outscore them. Over/Under will be high. Last time I predicted a high scoring game I think the total was 27, so don’t go calling Caesar’s Palace and betting the house on Over, lol.

Watched LH / Flour Bluff game. PNG should be fine on offense. But they may want to hire CT this week to stop that LH hide the ball offense. PNG for the win , always liked Purple and White , West Orange Chiefs !

I would say a more PREPARED group of kids. Lots of kids back from last year, but the defense is 100% better. This years team is a TEAM. The DC has done excellent preparation for each game. The kids are in the right places at the right times, but all that is nothing if they can't tackle, and like Chief Joseph said, these kids are playing with great effort. GREAT EFFORT. You can see it, you can FEEL it in the stadium. Every struggle in every game makes them better. This team has FIGHT and they don't give up. I think that's a credit to the Coaches, the players, the parents, and the community. But you know all this. You're a PNG Indian. Has anyone noticed that there are no names on the backs of jersey's? I like it. They usually have them on for the 1st playoff game.

We started getting in full weeks of practice, for one, and the kids acclimated to the new system. People forget that the Memorial game was the first game under a new head coach who wasn’t able to get in all the practice he wanted due to the weather leading up to that game. One last comment on this from me. Silsbee would have won the game if they'd played it at a high school stadium. High school goal posts are 23'-4" wide. The NFL goal posts are 18'-6" wide. I thought it would be cool to play at NRG but it really wasn't. It's too big for 4A football from small town schools. The traffic was a nightmare and it cost the Tigers the game. Let's don't do that again if we can avoid it.

I hate all this nonsense after the game is done. You can always tell who never lost a big game. Let the wound close. Don't need an autopsy here.

Funny it seems that its always a call near or at the end of the game that will be questioned that cost the losing team the game. Fact is that bad calls or missed ones are part of the game. Football is an imperfect game, that's why it's played and why we love it. I can't remember how many Cuero games I have left fuming because I felt of a bad call and then show me video or replay of the play and OMG I wouldn't sleep the rest of the week. This game was no different. You had two great teams so evenly match that the game could have gone either way. The turning point I felt was when Silsbee had Cuero down 20-7 and seem to let off the gas pedal defensively. I also felt Cuero made better half-time adjustments offensively because neither team could stop the other. Those are my thoughts. Silsbee has a great team and from the post's great fans, I have no doubt you will be back and if Cuero is not there, I will be pulling for you. As for now thank you both for one of the most exciting games of the ages.
