I’d want to get out of BISD too. Not a very well ran school district and not up to standards on paying coaches for that classification of school. I would have done the same thing if it was closer to home and better pay to be at one of the bigger schools in a lower classification.

If you are a pitcher here is "a" golden rule for college. Speed will get you looked at and onto a college team then Accuracy will get you on the mound and stay in college.

Kountze has a freshman that you would be impressed with. good court awareness see s the floor and isn’t afraid to finish it at the cup. Vs EC on February 4th

Burned Out, how? Start playing tournaments at 6 years old. At 7 play 4 weekends a month. at 8 start a throwing program with weighted balls at a local facility. play 7 days a week 365 days a year till 8th grade. then as a freshman they dont make varsity so mom and dad go ballistic cause little johnny has been taking pitching lessons since he was 4 and is a D1 candidate since he was 8. Now being completely focused to make varsity you increase the throwing program to 2 times a day. Then OMG an arm injury and now Tommy John surgery.

I agree with you. He has made a name for himself and will be a hot commodity for years to come. But, if the wife doesn’t want to be far from her parents, he is staying right where he is at. LCM is a good school and a good community so that makes up for a little bit money wise.

Well he was a co offensive Cordinator at port Arthur this past season. Was with WOS for awhile before that. We will see if he brings more of a Titan offense.

The oldest CoNNell (Remi) was the youngest kid in his senior class. Split the MVP w TJ his Senior season. The middle CoNNell was MVP his junior and senior season. Remi played basketball at the next level. Alex played football at the next level.

One Connell, the oldest, was on that team with the Edwards. And he was the reverse of a reclass kid…he was a full year ahead in school. They were a nice team. But Kountze had the three best players on the floor. The middle Connell brother would have been a freshman when Arnold or Stanford was a senior.
