Bridge City vs WOS

first of all good to see kj dad on here.

Second of all BC is NOT even close to the level the Mustangs are.  Next week you will be just like Nederland and Lcm saying wow the Mustangs really are on a whole new level.

This mustang team is the best it's been in a while.  If you know football you know that means a lot coming from this program.

BC will be fine but Friday night they will meet a team that will be unstoppable on both sides of the ball.

It's funny that everyone thinks they run the best slot t and that we won't be able to stop it.
I can't wait to leave BC fans shaking their heads while we light up the score board.

And a win in 7th grade... Well I'm glad y'all have something positive to hang your hat on.

We didn't have any problems scoring during our scrimmage vs WOS last year. I know, it's just a scrimmage, the stangs have gotten better, the field was wet, the WR didn't go where Jack wanted him to, blah, blah, blah.

I hope the kids over there  are reading this crap and believing that we don't have a chance.

Y'all scored on INT...Your offense didn't score and we only played 2 quarters

What does this class of seniors have to do with any loss given to BC by WOS on a varsity level? The only past that matters is the past between these 2 classes which goes back a while. We get it you've beaten us 24 times but none of that will matter come Friday night

You won't mind if I quote you at 11pm Friday night, will you?

I'm a bridge city fan no doubt, but the cards are not on the same level. Looking forward to Friday.

It seems some people from bc think this team is special, I hope they are right good luck cards.

I dont see this team being as good as some of the past bc teams btw. Jmo

peebles, knight

sparks, Armand, Dishon

these guys played on some great BC teams and I just don't see them comparing to these past teams.

Wos 42+ to BC14

I'd say both teams are different!

They are . ND this my thing. I think the game will be descent for a quarter. Of both teams slugging it out. And as the game goes on for the next couple of quarters that jd3 starts to pile up the numbers. I've watched BC games on hudl.nd they played 2 horrible teams that couldn't tackle. ND now the media ND sum ppl are hyping this game up for nothing. Jd ND his crew. is one of the best group of wrs  to ever play at w.o. bc so many kids gets a chance to catch the ball .Bc db's aren't that gud. ND not to mention the defense one of the best to ever come through. ND I'm not saying w.o  can't be challenge! ! Teams like memorial, png,West brook, central ,silsbeee, and maybe even Lumberton cud really make dem come on with it.point is bc has so many matchup problems that I don't know if they can stay within 30pts of this team. Hell I didn't even mention the special teams.

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
