1. I don't mean to say this at you, but as it was brought up, the talk of the Hamshire-Fannett movein pipeline needs to stop either. Any kid that moved in and puts on a Longhorn uniform went through the same process that the Ardoin kid did. That means at least a majority of the coaches in the district didn't have a problem with them. If they didn't then why should we? Trying to imply that Coach Rideaux is somehow recruiting a team to HF is just as bad as what was stated this morning about Coach Davis, Dr. Breithaupt and Dr. Harrison. Both are trying to attack the character of an area coach and we can't have that.
2. Neither party represents us anyway. So we should snuff out every chance they have for reelection. We always talk about choosing the lesser of two evils. Why can't we come together and form better party? Call it the "Less-Evil Party". No platform needed. Just common sense solutions to everyday problems.
3. Had HD in this one but hearing talk around last couple days I don’t know which way to call it.
4. You’re inhaling too much of that Motiva fumes. I have NO beef whatsoever with Baytown, guy. Was that something you just came up with during your hallucinations? ‘Trill talk’ my arse...
5. So lame. Get your own material, Mr. Trill Talk...🙄
6. Our Republican Party is weak. They won’t do anything. It’s sickening. All talk & no action. EVER! Why isn’t Hillary in prison? Were charges even brought against her? WEAK! I’m tired of this crap.
7. I don’t think I’ve seen a Nederland Seniors coach on this site all year..... One thing to talk trash but another thing to try to get them to get on here and argue. Take your win move on. If you’ve got trash to talk be a man and talk it to them in person. Not on a message board.
8. You are correct on many levels but if the coaches can't come on here and take a little smack talk between rivals then they need to stay off the site.
9. True. I hear more talk of WO-S and Jasper than the subjects of the thread.
10. I thought liberals took it bad in 2016 but this is some extreme talk. charged and executed in public. That’s a deep reflection.
11. Here is the text from an article by the Houston Chronicle when BCG left Texas A&M for Kentucky. It's an opinion piece and it's creepy how right this guy was:
Good riddance, Billy Clyde. Onward and upward, Aggies. He was a great hire. Let's begin with that basic point. No matter how bitter you are, no matter how betrayed you feel, don't ever forget what Billy Gillispie did for Texas A&M. He left a blueprint for the lucky coach who follows him. Never again should Texas A&M take a backseat to Texas in basketball. That will be Gillispie's legacy. Here's the other thing to know about Billy Clyde Gillispie. He was never going to stay at Texas A&M. Never. If he didn't have a legitimate reason to leave, he was going to invent one. His monstrous ego wasn't going to be satisfied in Aggieland. He wanted more. He has been that way his entire coaching career. Ask some of the people who coached with and against him along the way. Billy Clyde never lacked ambition. Ambition isn't a bad thing, but it can be consuming and alter one's sense of reality. Billy Clyde wants to be mentioned in the same breath as Coach K. or Roy Williams, and he's determined to get there no matter how many times he has to break his word. His word means nothing. He's a liar in the worst sense of the word. He will come up with some reason for leaving Texas A&M, but the bottom line is he gave his word that he would stay when he probably never had any intention of staying. Some A&M officials knew this. They expected him to take the Arkansas job. Even if he decided to stay at A&M, they knew they'd be going through this drama again next year and every year after that until he finally did leave. Gillispie began telling friends a year ago he was dissatisfied with A&M. He believed some promises had gone unfulfilled. In the last few weeks, he told some that he wanted the Arkansas job. The Aggies who are unhappy with him now are missing the point. Gillispie used A&M, but A&M used Gillispie, too. Now there's a roadmap for how to succeed in basketball. Don't worry about the players or the recruits. Sure they committed to a liar. That's the wrong way to look at the thing. They committed to attending school and playing basketball for one of the country's great universities. They're Aggies now and forever. They may have wished they'd signed on with Rick Barnes, but they're going to end up all right. Bill Byrne surely knows this was coming. He gave Gillispie virtually everything he asked for last week and still couldn't get an answer from him. He had to know that Gillispie was either having some kind of identity crisis or simply a liar. I was convinced last week that he was going to leave, but once he issued a pretty definitive statement about the new contract, that seemed to be the end of it. Still, doubts lingered. He never said definitively that he was staying. He never signed the deal. I've heard he didn't sign his previous deal, either, but that's beside the point. The bottom line is that this little man with the smirk and the big ego came to see himself as worthy of Kentucky but not Texas A&M. Don't sweat it, Aggie fan. Bill Byrne will go find another first-rate coach. He'll build on what Gillispie has started. He'll have great facilities and a solid recruiting class, and he might make the A&M-Texas basketball rivalry one of the countries best. Gillispie will attempt to find whatever he's looking for in Kentucky. He won't find it. He'll never find it. The Aggies shouldn't sweat his leaving. He's not worth it.
12. It's Homecoming for SA... So who you got and by how much? SA lost to Garrison in a close one and Hemphill lost to Buna by more than a few so...
13. Lol loved the way you and @BMTSoulja1 was going at it... Loved the smack talk from beginning to end
14. Yall talk too much after facing weak comp, that's why we bout to really kick yall teeth in. Yall wanted smoke, welp it's here.
15. Neither did I but I figured since this hypothetical situation bothered them so much they needed to talk it out. It helps sometimes.
16. I would love to say your wrong and smack talk this one till game time, but I think your spot on. This years BH team just cannot seem to get in sync with each other and not sure why. I have thought for years that this may be BH’s best team because of what the SR and JR class has accomplished athletically in their past. Plus we returned a ton from last years team that played so well. If BH wants to get back on track this is the game to make it happen. Hoping BH finds their stride and starts playing like the can.
17. Nothing but facts I promise you. I have a projector and hudl access and would sit and talk football anytime over a cold beer or coffee I like both. And I know for a FACT you have NOT seen this kid since the first game we played this year. Also another FACT is he is a 4.46 kid that is faster than anybody on yalls squad. And that’s not just a coaches stopwatch. I personally carried this kid to a beast camp this past summer. So idk who you looking at but he ain’t the one lol. Actually there has also been ANOTHER rb out since the Hardin game that was starting to do some big things as a freshman. He’s done for the year though. But best believe I’ve done my research before I open my mouth about anything. I thought fact checkers was only on Facebook lol. It’s all still in fun though and good luck to y’all
18. Yep. Those that do violent things need to be dealt with accordingly. Violently!! they follow zero laws and lash out like toddlers but are grown men and women. The easiest way to snuff these losers out is hit them instantly ,directly and significantly. They need to feel the pain as a consequence for their actions. Stop all that negotiating crap. Why are we negotiating with domestic terrorist????? This is what you get when lack of discipline is taught and corporal punishment is removed from the school system. many parents fail these kids when it comes to respect, discipline, responsibility and now the public school system is too. And it’s not just inner city schools either. Met with school admins at a small rural school....and they have no corporal punishment (not even the coaches). small things add up over the years. The effect of small changes aren’t seen or felt till it’s too late to go back and fix. i hope and pray that people make good decisions tonight and in days to come. moms dads brothers sisters aunts uncles grannies and papas better talk to your people about not putting themselves in compromising positions where bodily injury or death may happen. The choice is yours no one else’s.
19. Still a Coach there or educator? Cause if my daughter wanted to play for me fine but if I wasnt a Coach anymore and wanted to attend school in the neighborhood where we reside i would understand that also. Just happens to have a new Coach there and has had instant success so now it looks as if it's a recruiting hotbed. Maybe the parent needs to talk to Coach Wise I think is his name at Yates Highschool...He gets it done and puts the Hammer on schools from this way unless its Silsbee of the past couple years or so.Ask HJ...they got hammered lastyear by the Boys from the Tre.....Carry On.
20. Also his dad a coach right? Wouldn't he talk to the new head coach prior to his son moving the following year to get to know him?
21. Everyone sees the trend, why else did he transfer to Fannett?? His dad was coaching him by the way talk talk , why wouldn’t you want to be coach by ur dad?? Also Fannett wouldn’t have been good if they didn’t have the 2 moves in last year, the have 4 in less than a year just doesn’t add up go me.
22. I think that’s what Carthage fans are hoping for. It’s not very fun to watch when your team is blowing everybody out. There is a lot of talk about Carthage’s arrogance, but when it comes down to it we love to see a damn game! Have played a ton of them over the years. Carthage has been involved in so many instant classics deep in the playoffs over the years. I would love nothing more than WO-S (or Jasper) to come and hit Carthage in the mouth. It’s been a while since Carthage has had a close game. But there is always that one playoff game that is gonna test a team’s will big time. It was Lampasas last year. Is WO-S the one to do it this year? Honestly I don’t think so, but I hope I am wrong. If Carthage continues on the path they are on, we are talking all time great Carthage team. Maybe the best ever. But have to finish this thing out. To this point in the season (7 games) Carthage has out scored opponents 302-67 (33 ppg average margin of victory). Last year Carthage thru 7 games had out scored opponents 255-63 (27 ppg average margin of victory). For context in 2017, which a lot of Carthage fans say was their best team ever, they out scored opponents 321-142 thru 7 games (26 ppg average margin of victory). So statistically this years team is the most dominant team Carthage has had thru 7 games in their history, but that doesn’t take into account SOS. We will have to see how the rest of the season plays out.
