Here is the beauty of these scientist's and their big bang theory.  In order for it be so, you have to have a spontaneous explosion that has no source of power or matter to work with that just happens miraculously and boom, you now have matter and it has somehow come together in forms and shapes.  And then, without anything at all being added to it or controlling it, it just starts to change and develop and evolve!!  There isn't a single scientist, especially Stephen Hawking, who can, under any set of labratory conditions, duplicate this phenomonal feat!!  But what they can do is "theorize" what might have happened "miraculously" for them to get to this point in there personal and human existence without the existence of a God!!!  I can tell you, that takes a faith that would make any religious person look completely faithless!!!  Or to put it another way, it is a proven statistical fact that if you tell someone a lie frequently enough, he will come to believe it!!!

God could have used the Big Bang Theory, but it would have only taken six literal days for all of creation to be formed.

My question to you would be is what initiated the Big Bang? Nothing? I am mean that is the Naturalistic view that nothing created everything and from a Scientific standpoint that is impossible, unless you only pick and choose what parts of science you wish to believe.
Also when talking about beginnings does not one have to account for History also? Maybe Philosophy? How does one recreate "The Beginning" Big Bang or otherwise  using the scientific method?
By faith I take The Genesis account to be true and by faith others take what this generations scientist say about origins to be true. ie  the complexity of a simple cell is a bit more then what Darwin thought it was.   Just remember this there is a lot more money and prestige in the theory of evolution being true then in taking Romans 5:12 literally.  I just know no matter what  when the evolutionary theory loses validity and changes need to be made instead of being open minded the Evolutionist becomes dogmatic and they just use the abra cadabra of evolutionary magic. It is called add another  million years to your answer; that's right if Darwinian Evolutionist can not explain it they just add a million or billion years to the equation to make it work. And when you say the emperor has no clothes on when questioning how science can prove anything that happened over a million years ago then be ready to be called a picker and chooser when it comes to science. I just search for truth and I think for myself and when a man claims to be God, claims to be eternal, claims to have created everything, forgives sin, dies and is resurrected on the third day and claims to be the embodiment of truth then either the Naturalistic view on the  Genesis of life is true and The Bible a lie or The Biblical account of Genesis is true and thus has answers when it comes to Genesis.

I apologize if this does not read well and I am glad there is no grammer and spelling test for salvation......Its by faith

When it was first introduced, the “big bang” was sometimes an object of ridicule. But over the past decades, it has proven to be quite pliable, morphing to adapt to each new problem. Are these changes true improvements, or just rescuing devices?

The daughter is coming back now and saying that she let him in.  I agree with 5gallon,  If I find a boy in my daughter's room he's either going to get an serious butt whoopin' or if he's reaching for something,  a bullet.

i know this is off topic, but if a man enters my house without permission and i have a family to protect and i do not know his means of entry......he will meet the bullet whether the law says it right or wrong.  And i ll take whatever punishment the land gives.....   One less criminal to deal with in my eyes.

I have a family to protect and i will either die protecting them, serve a sentence protecting them or live free protecting them.....either way I AM PROTECTING THEM PERIOD.  my stance is not a political stance its a "Protector stance"

The facts are the facts, this president is more aimed at keeping his political agenda alive than being a problem solver. I prefer the words of one of your democrat presidents....."ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country".........the answer is, get of the teet and work and pay into the system, not draw out of it. Welfare has gone from an assistance program to a way of life for many and that is not right no matter what your political affiliation or race. There are those that need this system but there are far too many that abuse it out of pure laziness and the "somebody owes me" mentality.

I think this is really telling!!  Lets pick this apart and then we can all regroup and see how this pans out in the future!!  First lets look at Sumlin.  He has yet in his coaching career that I know of to win a conference championship.  He played in a conference championship game but lost.  He still has not "won the big one"!!  Only time will tell, He also has a very laid back style.  The has not translated into a championship.  Maybe, just maybe the lack of discipline is hurting the chances for championships.   It is attracting very good players, and that will translate into wins, but is the discipline there to win championships like say Alabama??  Have to wait and see, but that was the knock in Austin about Brown.  Team was soft and didn';t have the discipline to win championships.  On any given day they had the talent to win.  Second, is the SEC factor another X-factor in the recruiting battles.  At some point, because all things are cyclical, the SEC will come back to the pack and it will not be able thump its chest so demonstrably as the best conference.  What happens then??  Stay tuned!!!

Man, I can't figure this one out.  I really can't.  I can't say for certainty that he will be a bust, that he will be productive, or that he will be a star.  Could be any of the three.  I agree with Bullets13 that he did get bailed out a lot having maybe the best WR in CFB bringing in a lot of "jump balls."  At the same time, the kid can make all, or almost all, of the throws you need on Sundays.  Injuries scare me a bit with his style if he can't adapt to protecting himself more.  But patience and making better decisions can be taught and learned in the league - and despite some of the things he's done and said, I don't think the kid is dumb.  Again, I can't make up my mind on him and I doubt anyone knows for sure.  I just don't think you accurately say he will be a bust anymore than you can say he will be a Pro Bowler.  He's one you have to wait and see with.  It's a nightmare for a GM though; pass on him and he's a star, you look terrible...draft him and he's a bust, you look terrible.  Personally, despite being a Longhorn and bleeding burnt orange, I wish him all the success in the world.  Love him or hate him or indifferent, no one can say he's not VERY fun to watch when he's doing his thing.  The NFL will be a better product if he's successful.

He was a great college QB.  i think he has too much going against him to be a great pro QB.  He's too small to be a running QB, but he's probably too short to be a pocket QB.  The things that made him most valuable in college will get him killed in the NFL.  now when he eludes one guy in the pocket, there are going to be 3 more waiting to smash him.  and half the people on the field are as fast as him now.  I don't think he'll be a total bust like Tebow, but i don't see him being more than a QB who starts for a few years after he's drafted, and then plays backup for awhile before leaving the league.  But, i could be wrong.  I just think that after watching him play several games, that if he hadn't had one of the best WRs in college bailing him out on jumpballs, he might actually be considered a 3rd or 4th rounder right now.

Put this short and simple. Russia is not our enemy. They may not be our Allie. But they are not our enemy. We should keep it that way. Stay out of other peoples business. I would like to solve the worlds problems, but we really can't afford it. And we really haven't solved any problems lately. We can't even fix Detroit much less Iraq, Afghanistan, or the Ukraine. Anybody who argues against 7v7 just does not want to do the work it takes.  If 7v7 is no good, why do it every day during the season or in the Spring?  Colleges and pros do it basically year around.  I guess the argument could be said for summer league basketball or pick up games.  How about fall baseball?  Why not hit the waits instead of wasting time practicing what you do.

BS POST!!! Anything you do repetitively will make you better at it. H - D you sound like Allen Iverson when he said, practice, we talking bout practice!!!! I will admit at first I did not like it until I coached my kids one summer. When the season came my 8th grade son played with a lot of poise in the pocket and delivered some balls when he knew he would get hit because we worked on a 4 second rule to get rid of the ball. He also knew who he could trust in a 3rd and whatever situation since he shared the QB duties with another talented kid who could run. Data can be misleading...... on paper the Dallas Cowboys are better than 7 - 9 or 8 -8, and the Heat should when every night, or the Yankees should when the pendant every year. Peyton Manning is in my mind the best that ever did it and he practices like it is imperative to do so. There was an article out about a month ago where other regions where complaining about our (Texas) all year round football mentality and said that is why they cannot compete with us in this region because of our 7 on 7 programs.

why do people assume 7on7 is about offense? even if ur a slot t team, your defense must rep coverages vs pass schemes. eventually you do have to beat a carthage, navasota, lake travis, slc, etc... you better get as many reps as you can working against no huddle/tempo/throwing teams.

teach/rep your friday night pass schemes/no huddle/signals, etc... on offense and your coverages/adjustments to formations on defense during the athletic period in the spring and your players rep them all summer in local leagues and tournaments. how can that not help???

only negative to 7on7 is uil wants hs coaches there to 'supervise' but not coach. let em coach too. the kids want to play and they want their coaches coaching them.

Hey biaplayer not to down play your comment, but here are some things I don't think you truly understand about 7on7 and how it helps develope your skill players especially quarterbacks. In 7on7 its all passing and situational football. The offense has no running game to rely on there for they now have to develope consistency on 1st 2nd and 3rd downs and become pass efficient and patient. As they began to understand the strategy and scheme to being successful in the quick and intermediate pass game, they find that its not an " air it out " competition , its situational football. So go's for the defense as well. They must be able to transition for man to zone based on situation, down and distance, and personnel match ups. So come Friday night 11 on 11 when its 3 rd and 5 ! Hey my Quarterbacks and receivers don't press in these situations! They convert ! Because they've developed that through there own training and experiences from 7on7.
