Watched United v Channelview. The Twolve's Oline is big and could run block better. The new qb has a arm. Missed on the fades but threw bullets on slant and post plays. Defense pitched a shutout and gave up maybe 2 splash plays. Plenty of good to take from this scrimmage

I'm suspect some dollars was sent to the UIL district makers on behalf of cove to go south...

Saw where PA Memorial/Aldine Nimitz had a 3 quarter live scrimmage. PAM had 3 TD's. Nimitz did not score. Memorial defense was dominant.

If money was the motivating factor then cove would have paid to stay 5A for 2 more years. With what I know about the Cove, they embrace any challenge give to them. No excuses, they compete and if they don’t succeed they work hard to get better.

After giving up 18 runs on 18 hits last night, Astro pitching gets a 3 hit shutout and win 4-0.

Big congratulations to Bellville Head Volleyball Coach Susan Brewer on career win #1306 and becoming the all time wins leader for Texas High School Volleyball. In 50 years of coaching in Bellville she has a resume of 1306 wins 9 State Championships 5 State Runner ups 6 State Semi finalist 20 Regional Championships 26 Regional Appearances 39 won or Co District Championships and still counting!!

Through the grapevine (not too credible of a source) I heard WB got the better of Dayton. Saw a couple of WB highlight videos of two TD's but that was it. Don't know if it was JV or varsity.

We were a double digit dog in 22 and a 3 or 4 point dog in 23. I'll see what it says the day before the game. Those spreads on DCTF team capsules have a habit of changing later in the game-week right before the computer projections come out which can be very much different from the spread on the team capsules.

I’m still a firm believer in staggering 1A-3A and 4A-6A seasons… 2 weekends of championship football. 1A-3A can play at the Star. 4A-6A at AT&T stadium… everyone play on Friday or Saturday. Flip flop D1 and D2 Friday and Saturday every year… or 4A-6A give them a longer season more football for us fans. lol
