Maybe that is correct but maybe not. It all comes down to the center…. or maybe even the right side of the aisle. If something like that was allowed to go forward (won’t happen) “most” Republicans are not gonna vote Democrat because there’s a Bible of the classroom. Most Democrats are not going to all of a sudden vote Republican because there’s a Bible in the classroom even if they are Christian and agree with it. It’s probably almost a non-issue for them. How much will the center be offended by such a law dictating Christianity in the classroom? Perhaps enough to throw an election? Perhaps joined by some Republican Christians? Don’t believe it? In Santa Fe ISD v. Doe, the Supreme Court threw out a pre-game prayer over public address system. In that case so as to attempt to make it constitutional, the school district completely backed out of the process. The students were allowed to vote whether they wanted a public address with a prayer. If so, they were allowed to choose their own student representative who would deliver the prayer and what that prayer would be. So in that case, it was completely voluntary by students who are absolutely allowed to pray at school by the Constitution. Since there was no school input at all, they felt that it would pass a constitutional challenge. But no, someone was offended. It was the atheists, right!? Nope. Then it had to be the Muslims who were offended by something like Christian!! Wrong again. It was a Catholics and Mormon who filed the federal lawsuit. So you had two Christians filing on an almost certainly Christian prayers over the public address system although it was supposed to be non-denominational. The Supreme Court ruled that such a prayer was a violation of the Constitution. Because it was at a public school event, on public school property and over a publicly owned PA system, it violated the First Amendment. This isn’t to try to re-litigate the case but just to show that it was two Christians who ended school prayer before football games over the PA system. It wasn’t the evil atheists or someone from an opposing non-Christian religion. So I’m not really sure how a person can claim for that it won’t make no difference. When they put the Bible in the classroom, is it going to be the King James Bible or the Catholic Bible? Don’t be so sure that the opposition won’t be a Christian religion against another Christian religion. Like a bumper sticker that I saw once, my Jesus is better than your Jesus.

I know it is a money issue for the UIL and there's no turning back the calendar, but games like this one illustrate why there should only be the top two teams from each district in the playoffs. Three and four teams from each district waters down the playoffs and creates games where the score is 70-0 with a running clock. I'm betting PAM played things pretty vanilla in the second half with twos, threes, and the JV kids rotating in and out. What did either team get out of that game? PAM prayed for no injuries. GP avoided PE and basketball season by one week and were still humiliated after an extra week of football practice.

No doubt. McCrary was a master of evaluating each player's strengths & weaknesses and then game planned around them. Fellers was a master of running the game plan, which he is still doing this year at Duncanville. Whoever replaced them are JV caliber play callers at best.

Much improved team. Had a chance for the DC and had every chance to avoid pulling Tom Brady and his D1 receivers but it happened. From what I understand the JV and freshman had a solid year. Let's get that 2012 team back (who I think would have made it to state in the new alignment instead of pulling the next years 6A team) anyway, a complete turnaround for the dogs. Thomas will be missed, he never had a chance to really show off and he made a heck of a noise in 8-5A

Good win. I lost count of the motion penalties, but otherwise the offense did well I think. The D stepped up also tonight, with a little help from the Bobcat offense, but I liked the aggressiveness tonight.

PN-G is missing both Cade McCrary and Charlie Feller those guys were both outstanding coaches and they got replaced by Faircloth light and a guy who i don't think is as good as feller was just turn on the tape you'll see what I mean

WOS vs LaVega Friday, Nov. 22 7:30pm Bulldog Stadium, Magnolia

This Bobcat team overachieved this season. They were fun to watch and brought some excitement to the community. Unfortunately injuries happen and I think became too much in this game. I wish #9 could have played. Not sure if it would have changed the outcome of this game but he would have got more pressure on the Fairfield QB. Congrats Coach Breaux, his staff and the players. You made this old Bobcat proud and can’t wait to see the future of Bobcat football.

Cardinal yacker, all four teams lost score doesn’t matter. LCM district champs 1st round loss. BC 3rd place first round loss. No one is embarrassed , got beat no excuses. BC had an ok season, LCM had a DC season. Good luck next year.

There lies the problem. I disagree. The history of our founders varies according to who’s interpreting the narrative. The one thing that no one talks much about, the Bible trumps our constitution. As a nation, we cannot expect Gods favor while pushing him out. However, I understand that’s not a considerable concern for those that don’t honor Gods supremacy or his word.
