Buna was cold tonight and CH hit shots in the 4th. Cougars made a good run the past few weeks. Going to miss Connell and this senior group. Coach Wilson did a good job in his first year.

That's not an upset. LaGrange district was not good. Got swept very easily. In fact, there were a few #4 seeds beat #1 seeds last night. Maybe 1 or 2 would be considered upsets. As for our area coverage, I would say Goose Creek Memorial beating Texas City was a slight upset. Also #4 seed Tenaha beating #1 seed Corrigan was a slight upset. Nothing really major.

Miller had 41 points tonight. Harris had 25.

17-5A was 2 points from sweeping 18-5A. Didn't someone say 17-5A was a trash district this year?

Tighten some things up a bit on defense and the Tigers will be okay. I couldn't care less if another team gets some sort of moral victory against up for playing hard. All that matters is who's going home and who isn't.

Should be the standard. 4th place teams in 6-7 team districts should just be happy to get a shot and another game. Rental and travel cost reduced for school districts that are limited on funds anyway.

Vidor does not pay enough money. Anahuac has the money, that’s how they got him from newton. However if Vidor did hire him, he would build a team better than anything Vidor has ever had.

A rich tradition out there in Ofield for baseball going back for decades . They just do it right out there in the bayou. Been producing some great players for a very long time. Guys like Granger in the late 80’s and the great college and long time minor league / MLB career he had to guys like D. Kirby in the mid 90’s , the Agerton boys and Morgan in the late 90’s, to Felts in the 2010 / 2011 years to the entire 2022 Bobcat team that dominated last year. Glad to see the torch continues to be carried well by this young man and this years team. Best of luck.
