Not speaking as a media member, strictly as an alum and current resident in the district, I would be extremely disappointed is this ends up happening.

Just a question …. Why would one fake an injury at the end of a two point conversion? Why diminish a great football game, where the kids from both sides left it all on the field? Cougars earned the win in a very clean sportsmanship game. As hard as both teams were playing, tempers could have easily gotten out of hand. Good luck going forward.

Never in a million years did this Dayton Bronco think he would be cheering on the Crosby Cougars, but WHAT. A. GAME. I walked from my classroom to the stadium and that was definitely worth not going home! Y'all have an amazingly loud fanbase! Did I mention loud? Not saying it would have made a difference in the game, but the replay Elam just showed on the news it was an obvious TD. The goal line was almost at his waist. Maybe that’s why LCM didn’t have a play ready. They were shocked the refs blew it that bad.

Not gonna lie. This was a great game and this was a cheat match from start to finish l. Things changed a little when King’s big man fouled out. But Silsbee stayed true to what they do. And even though they were much shorter than King, Silsbee got several offensive rebounds late.. darn good 3 from Harris in the corner. Congrats on the win. Silsbee took down yet another 6a team.

Poor C.E. King. They also came within 2 points of taking down Goose Creek Memorial this year. Always close but not quite. Also, nice job by Harris making a big shot in a high pressure situation. Good getting that experience.

Yes, gotta be proud of the Bears. Great season. Last night they just seemed out of sync, but coming from the cellar to playing for Regional Champs, just WOW! Like Vidor, the durn injury bug hit them. Jmo, but I think Landry being hurt affected the whole team. Look forward to LCM, Vidor, Ltown and Huffman doing it all again next year.

Only giving up 1 TD to Crosby should give you a chance to win every time. T high defense played good. Offense was in a hole from the start I guess #1 at wr was a player that didn’t take grades very serious didn’t see him last night. either way part of it at this level . Both ends for Crosby were causing problems all game. I thought Crosby defense deserved gm ball. Also..Crosby kicker was dang good.

Great seasons Stangs! I know this isn't the way y'all wanted it to end because the standard is state championship or bust. But all of Orange County is proud of yall regardless! My prayers are with Elijah Gales, tough to see his senior year end on that kind of note.🙏🏼

It would've been tough even with Gales. CS has a phenomenal team this year. We gave it our best shot. Congrats to CS. I do believe they will be your 4a DII state champ. Mustangs will re-group. Good bye to Elijah Gales, Hunter and Dontrey McClain. I coached them in MS and they've been warriors for the Blue and Silver. You men will be missed. I have a feeling that some big changes maybe on the horizon. Time will tell. There's no inside info or anything, just my gut. GL to all involved, if so. Mustangs 4 life!

Here’s what I have for all of you. I made a grey post so it would not get deleted a few weeks back. Let this get out. These new school board members need to make a decision. Either take care of the administration problems, that are causing the BF debacle. Or get ready to not be voted back in. It’s simple. It’s called the power of social media. And a few of us have the goods. So if you know a school board member, one of these newly elected ones. Pass this along to them. The only thing that generates money and people are bleeding purple for, revolve around sports and the band and drill teams. So if you think, a Joe Dale Cary type of coach is going to come in and do what BF has done, your sadly mistaken. The words been out for over a month. Leaked from the top. My sources, are firm…….

It’s true: resign or non-renew. Pretty sorry way to treat the winningest coach in PNG history…They want him to resign so it looks like his choice to leave but that’s not the case, he is being forced.

I seen Silsbee struggle with Madison and BU dismantled that team. BU does have a weakness but Silsbee don’t have the personnel to exploit it. No knock on the Tigers though. You’ll see what I’m talking about when they play.

Crosby had a lot of pre-snap penalties that kept us behind the sticks on some of our drives and helped the TH defense but I can still probably count on one hand the number of defenses I’ve seen play Crosby like that. We couldn’t see y’all again until the title game with the predicted realignment but I hope we do too. I think Crosby got a lot more respect last night winning a 14-7 game than we would’ve winning 62-42 again. Nothing but respect for y’all.

Gales needs to become the biggest cheerleader out there! He can still lead without being on the field. We went flat when he went to the locker room. He needs to get them back in the game!

Agree it’s not the time. Too many returners coming back, not to mention his son will be a senior. Daughter is freshman and a star soccer player. Not sure board will do anything about this but they definitely won’t if they don’t hear from people that elected them. School Board can blame superintendent if this goes bad.

As far as I am concerned, in this area this is United's highway. Everybody else needs to stay in their lane.

I don’t spend much time in on this board but I lurk occasionally. I have seen many discussions about coaches, players, Jimmy and Joes, etc. I think @Reagan will be able to point to Eric Peevey to support his importance of coaching argument. He has a way of bringing people back down to earth and knows his law up and down. One thing he has taught me is there are variances in laws from state to state.
