  3. Congrats BU on one great season. You have represented the former Ozen High School. You have represented the former Central High School. Now that you have established your own identity I hope Central/Ozen alums will stop talking about "what it was" and focus on "what it will be". I'm looking forward to more success.

  7. Kid makes it look as easy as can be. Y’all can go back to debating the best Beaumont teams but I will say this - Terrence Arceneaux is as talented as we’ve had since Stephen Jackson.

  8. Wow. I mean is it that hard? Big time players make big time shots in big time games in big time situations.

  9. not sure what you mean by “real basketball”, but both these teams beat a lot of “real teams” to get here. 30+ wins for each of them with only one loss each. That’s about as “real” as it gets.

  14. Coach Green has now taken 5 different schools to the state tourney. Kountze Beaumont Central FB Hightower North Shore Beaumont United That's probably a very very short list of coaches who have accomplished that feat. Silsbee proud!!

  15. He woulda had that ball every possession in OT. They didn’t have a kid in that arena who could guard him. That big Henderson is a power 5 WR - Baylor and Ga Tech offers among others. Athletic as hell. Arceneaux was dusting by him like he was @Mr. Buddy Garrity

  16. I know one thing. Terrance Arceneaux is THAT guy. Refused to be denied!!! Saved us twice in the clutch!!!

  17. He looked terrified on the line. I don’t know who did what but Arceneaux needed the ball in his hands there. Period.

Thanks PF. He spent 7 years in the Marine Corp, and spiritually he had lost his way, but when he married he came back to the Church, even stronger. Wife and I are thrilled.

  21. Maybe if they were shooting on a peach basket this would be acceptable. Westlake and Duncanville needs to hurry up and play.

  26. I've watched this team all year.and been from setx one thing I noticed abt these kids.they don't blink!! No matter the situation.Dallas kimble has some tough kids too.that absolutely deserve to be there.i had other friends to ride with to games.and each time we drove back to orange.the same conclusion this kid arceneaux has that "it" factor.ppl may say that they have had better teams to come out of bmt.but how many are as tough as these kids.they don't blink.and that's something u can't teach. And the scary part is they will be back. From every coach to every player I salute u it truly was an honor watching them play.

  27. Congrats to BU! While the play was not always pretty, both teams gave great effort and gave us a really entertaining game. Arceneaux gave it a classic ending! Not sure what happened to the refs. They were great for three quarters. Let the guys play and called a consistent whistle. Got involved way to much in the 4th and messed up the flow of the game. Both teams had issues.

Why are yall talking about subvarsity for? The results have no bearing on what happens on varsity especially with Nederland and PN-G
