Lost power for about one minute around 4:00 p.m. Came back on and has been on since. Guess I’m lucky this time. Stayed off for days with Laura. A little damage to my skirting but that’s an easy fix. Multiple wrecks across SETX area due to hydroplaning and wind, but sure, beat your chest about how Livingston had decent weather and game could have been played. I have spoke with multiple people from my area (Nederland), have also spoke to a few in Lumberton/Silsbee area who have received much more extensive damage than they received during Laura, but continue to down play it so you can ride your high horse. I imagine you will have a few people “like” your comment and try to down play the significance of the storm. Shame on them too. I watched DV play Legacy last week and I must say I was shocked to see legacy hang with DV for the 1st half and were even up 6-0 at the end of one. I believe had # 4 of Legacy not got hurt this game may have been a whole lot closer in the second half. He seemed to be the game changer. With that said, I didn’t see the speed like someone said DV has . They had one kid who seemed pretty quick. If HD goes into to DV and coughs the ball up multiple times , they will lose. If not, I think H-D takes this game by 2 touchdowns. H-D is quicker and the main thing is, they have gotten better with each passing week.

Yep, I remember they were good. They only gave up 32 to Montgomery, 27 to Crosby & 28 to Dayton. If I’m being fair, they held most of the other games to 1 score. Just trying to stoke the fire a little. But this year is what matters. 0-1 in district. Even if Lumberton loses today, y’all will be tied for last place. So yes, y’all will be “as bad as Lumberton”. I pick because I felt and still feel that some of the hysteronics of Lumberton wanting to play on Thursday or else was ridiculous. The forecast up here never called for bad weather and if the weather did get bad, the UIL lets you make the game up on Saturday, Monday or Tuesday. They escalated this out of proportion, like they were going die if we had a Friday football game. I said if you think the storm is that bad, then spend Thursday preparing for the storm because football shouldn't come before securing life and property. I always said prepare for the storm, even when I was teasing. Go back and look. I even said I feel bad for everyone without lights after my dig about people in Lumberton being on their roofs and in need of a boat rescue. They were no where near the storm surge. But if you let the Raiders tell it, they were the target of the eyewall. I exaggerated because they were overreacting. If you don't like it, that's on you.

Keeping my fingers cross that by March 2021 we will have this virus under total control and The UIL would reconsider on Huntsville. It was nice and convenient to see all 4 teams playing at one location. Having the opportunity to see the 2 teams that will play Saturday on Friday Night at one location is nice and it cuts down on travel and lodging.

The offense that we ran when Steven Walker was the quarterback was a great offense. Then we had Tiger at QB and Spikes at running back. Those two young men had that option pitch down to a science. Like I said in my earlier post the offense is so vanilla but if you add just a few sprinkles and some chocolate syrup it'll be a whole lot better.😊

Then we proceed to get our ASS KICKED because we try to run offensive scheme we aren’t used to running... and usually once we fall behind. Here we go again.
