I am not sure Saturday will be available since the thing isn't making landfall until late Friday / early Saturday morning anyways. So now Friday, and Saturday could be out of the question. You also keep making your cute jabs, such as, "is Lumberton afraid of a little rain?" or "why Lumberton is so eager to get beat down a day earlier?" Both teams are coming off of a bye week, could Livingston not be prepared for the 1-3 Raiders, and need more days of preparation? Is Livingston scared to play the 1-3 Raiders in favorable conditions? Is Livingston hoping for Lumberton to be impacted by hurricane, so they can play the 1-3 Raiders short staffed, or potentially coming off of an evacuation? Quit being childish, and sticking up for an irresponsible decision that has been made. Hoping for safe travels to the Raiders, and a healthy game for both teams, whenever the game is played.

Anyone that works in the refinery industry, this election should be a no brainer. The Green New Deal does not look very appealing to the oil industry. The taxes on people and businesses making above $400,000 will raise 7% right from the get go. The dems didn't want to talk about the economy before this pandemic. Of course they want to attack it since were in a world crisis. Every other country is struggling right now. Once there is a vaccine people will get back to work. If the dems would spend more time focusing on the American people than trying to get Trump out of office America would have really been doing good before this pandemic. They were in court with some kind of made up BS for 3 years. Most people can see that when the Republicans want to pass a stimulous bill, pelosi wants to throw in some off the wall bs or they wont vote to pass it. Why not just pass a bill that just relates to the unemployment and people out of work? Why does all of this extra crap gotta be thrown in? They are holding the American people hostage to get more for themselves. I'm in a good situation but others could use that aid.

Splendora runs and passes, and Vidor runs and runs. Bottom line, despite all the guys that get the headlines, the game will probably be won in the trenches, and by the team with the fewest turnovers. Jmo.

It’s a real concern for everyone. But I’m wondering...what did people do about healthcare before Obamacare. I worked for a company that offered insurance. They paid a portion of it and I paid the majority of it. It was an excellent plan including dental, vision, and other coverage above and beyond the average medical plan. It cost me about $90 a week to cover my family - 5 of us in total. Fast forward - now I pay almost $300 a week, no dental, no vision, a deductible and out of pocket that has doubled AND there’s only 3 of us. It literally costs me per person the same that it costed me for the whole family before Obamacare drove insurance prices to an unbearably high level.

Gosh there is some kind of divine weather being that absolutely hates southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana.

I don’t think anyone’s crying. I just think it would be prudent to move the game to Thursday like every other team in the district. Doesnt make much sense. Although Livingston didn’t get much rain last time, we lost power for several days here in Lumberton. Plus you got bus loads of kids on the road in a storm. Honestly, I’d rather go to a Friday night game too. Unless, of course, I have to worry about my Senior making a senseless trip in a hurricane. I guess my big question is why not move the game like everyone did for safety’s sake? It’s a fair question.

My assessment: PNG played Tomball in 2018 and 2019. In 2018 PNG lost with Roschon Johnson sitting injured on the bench, and it was PNG's first game with their 2nd string QB. Even so, Tomball appeared weak and I have no doubt PNG would have beaten them soundly with RJ in the game, or even the next week with more time under the new QB. In 2019, PNG and Bost easily handled Tomball. My guess is PNG has the advantage tomorrow. I predict a three-score victory, and it will also be the first game that PNG makes a first-quarter stop, and the first game that PNG starts out in the lead.

I watched portions of their last game. Same ol LP with a big running back and a small running back playing sound defense. I know they struggled in 6A but this is step down for them and with PAM throwing when they should run and kicking game mistakes, I don't like their chances against the Bulldogs....

I'm not the guy to talk smack but I must say...1. Deweyville is not the physically bigger team, we may have more experience on the OL but we're not bigger...and 2. The team speed goes to DV, no question. Please know, I'm not discrediting that HD has a good group but in my own opinion, we are smaller but faster. I like the grit from my team, they are a very physical and scrappy group. Hoping it will be a great game (hopefully this storm won't hinder this potential District Championship contest....but it is 2020 y'all...lol. Good luck to my Bobcat friends.
