Play on Thursday and our boys are dealing with flooding, play on Saturday and our boys had to leave town or flooded... their minds are going to be somewhere else..livingston doesnt have to deal with anything but a game

The team that was leading 35-0 was awarded the victory. Both teams agreed to that. People that have never had any power in their life now have this new found power over people and they are enjoying it. It’s not about masks or safety of children. I agree, from what I have seen I think their offense will be able to move the ball and put up some points but there is a weak point somewhere in that team judging by their past games. The Pirates just have to find that weakness and exploit it but you never know because like you said, every game counts now. Splendora could decide to pull out all the stops and play their best players both ways in district play. Which could shore up whatever weaknesses they have had to this point. Whether it be line help, defense or lack of depth but we shall see. They may have to move this game to Thursday, with all the Homecoming hoopla I just hope the Pirates show up focused and bring the pain. I look for a close game at halftime with Vidor pulling away late. Go Pirates! 🏴‍☠️

Lots of mad Vidorians because they have to use the Splendora vs. Vidor game ticket for the actual game that is scheduled, and can't use their tickets purchased this week thinking it would be homecoming and they are now getting rid of them! It's really rather comical!

I am happy that we have thread going this long about Orange County Basketball so it's a win already. That being said here is my prediction for the district. Silsbee (have to stick with the Kings until their dethroned) LCM (I would not be surprised if the win the district) a lot of team chemistry and they shoot it well. WOS (even with the girls coach he will get them better, my niece is in college because of Coach Wilson, he's a players coach and our boys will respond after the Barstow beat downs) It also helps that he had a 6'4 transfer from Dallas and a 6'2 from Doby Lumberton (D1 Mcclure should get them there. Also better defensively than the remaining in the district)

I'm hoping Tomball Memorial is the bigger, meaner cousin.

At this point I'd almost say PNG SHOULD spot them 20 points. We have no idea at this point if PNG can even execute a play without being down by 20. They turn into superheroes when down by 20.

If they’re anything remotely close to their neighbors, Tomball Memorial, then PN-G is in serious trouble.

I think Buna wins but don’t think it’ll be a blowout. After watching Hardin play twice this year two things are evident. 1.) They will have less athletic kids than everyone they play. 2.) They’ll probably be coached as well or better than every team they play. After seeing Hardin play Anahuac last week there’s no way the Hornets should have played within 10 points of the panthers. Of the 10 best athletes on the field, Anahuac had probably 8 of the top 10 if not 9. Same thing when they played Hearne to a 14-13 game. Ned Barrier is a difference maker over there in Hardin. I’m not sure if they’ll ever truly compete in this district for a top spot but he’s getting the best out of what he has without a doubt. My prediction: Buna - 28 Hardin - 12
