Don't underestimate Friendswood. They have been impressive so far. In their only loss to FB Marshall, they outgained Marshall and the only reason they lost was they had a fumble and a blocked punt returned for TDs. They beat Ball by more points than Manvel did. Their game against Willowridge they were leading 48-7 at the half. Their forte seems to be run defense. They held Marshall to 21 carries for 50 yds (2.4 y/c) and Ball to 49 yds on 22 carries (2.2 y/c). La Porte should win, but it won't be easy.

Trump makes unproven link between autism and Tylenol
thetragichippy replied to thetragichippy's topic in Political Forum
Hopefully this brings awareness to Autism and what we put in our bodies..... Like him or hate him, he can say one thing and get the entire world talking about it. -
PNG moving up was more because Brenham moved down. They were one play away from losing to a bad Killeen team last week.

Those look pretty even to me.. give or take a few schools. Some considerations: Geographic location has to be taken into account in some circumstances. It wouldn't make much sense to "Go ahead and pull up the numbers to include schools A and B so that we have X number of schools in this division or that many few in another".. especially if there would literally be no schools geographically close to this hypothetical School A or School B. Also.. there are schools that choose to play up a division every alignment. If you really want a set number or max number of schools per division, then don't allow schools to play up. Make them play where they are.

My grandson has been diagnosed with Autism. He just turned 3. My DIL took Tylenol during pregnancy for her migraines. I don’t think that is what’s responsible. Tylenol is a brand name and Trump shouldn’t use that term. Acetaminophen is the active ingredient. Had an old girlfriend who was allergic to it. She would break out in hives. There are other remedies that use Acetaminophen for pain. Like Aggie said, I will adjust. Humans are good at adapting. I wouldn’t trade Leo for anything in the world. -

When I watched Jasper play Lumberton they did not seem to have the same energy or physicality that they usually have had in the past. -

This I agree but disagree due to the first quote as well as some other factors related to diet. been working with autism students for 20 years. due to advances we have been able to diagnose this a lil more accurately but in the same breath the numbers have also increased due to factors mentioned. what we put in our body does matter for short term and long term (generations). -

Blessings are where we look for them. I definitely understand the challenges. I also understand the simple joys. I’ve always thought that things don’t happen TO us. They happen FOR us. You sound like a good man. A blessing indeed. -

But the hype is stating that Tylenol causes Autism. That simply isn't the case. How do I know this? Because my wife never took Tylenol while pregnant yet my youngest son has Autism. The rise in Autism is because now we are able to diagnose it much better and sooner than we have ever have. Back in the day, folks didn't know what it was and simply misdiagnosed. My son was diagnosed as a 2 year old. We were first alerted by a school developmental specialist based on his behavior and skill set. She recommended us to a developmental psychologist and through some testing was then diagnosed. I just think this is being blown out of proportion and Trump needs to be able to point a finger. There are several drugs that women shouldn't take while pregnant. This just seems like a witch hunt. If we are going to reach for causes of Autism, then the first thing to look at is the amounts of mercury in vaccinations. I believe there is more substance to that claim than Tylenol. My wife and I never really got into the "what caused this" thing. Yes we asked questions but that was just briefly. After coming to grips with the diagnose (and that took some time) we then went into how do we manage this and what can we do to help our son. Took a lot of growing pains, some setbacks and personal struggles. But in the end, we believe we did the best we could and our son is striving as a 30 year old adult with Autism. Best thing we were ever told when we were dealing with all this was something a friend said to us at a grocery store. We were talking to her about our son and how we were struggling with all that comes with Autism. She said to us and I quote. "You guys will do just fine. God chose you two to be Reid's parents. He knows that you guys are the perfect parents for him. It is not a curse, it's a blessing to be his parents." That stuck with us till this day. IMO, there is no real root cause to Autism. -
Why?

Play the Soph QB, feed the ball to Sean Simon, eliminate turnovers, cut down on the offsides penalties (stop guessing the snap count) and continue playing physical football in the trenches. LP will get on a roll and win a lot of games. You have a good OL and physical DL/LBs. Run the ball and play good defense. Play to those strengths.
-
If their linebacker is allowed to cheat by lining offside, our QB will get sacked on every play. They (FBC) are big, but we will need to come out on the field ready to play. WO-S cannot come out and play lackluster in the first quarter. the key to the game is the o-line.
