AggiesAreWe Posted 22 hours ago Author Report Posted 22 hours ago This is what I was told by a reporter at Lumberton/Silsbee scrimmage: Had a short controlled session. Lumberton did not score. Silsbee scored 3 TD's Live 2 quarters: Lumberton did not score. Missed a 64 yard FG attempt. Silsbee scored 4 TD's. 6 of the 7 Silsbee's TD's were via the pass. Had 1 rushing TD (McKinney 60 yarder) Was told Breeden looked very good. He had 4 passing TD's. Mathews had 2 passing TD's. Wide receiver Williams was the main target and had 4 TD's. Setxhasbeen Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago Controlled portion of scrimmage Newton had 4TDs BC had 2TDs Newton has a very skilled WR who can make plays, solid back up RBs who ran hard even with the starter resting the whole scrimmage. Solid team. BC defense looks decent when Breeden returns it’ll help a ton, secondary has some work to do, BC offense has yet to establish the run game through two scrimmages. Quote

Kirbyville offense surprisingly looks the best out of all 3 units to me in terms of consistency and cohesion Once Vidor's offense starts clicking, they will be a team that no one wants to play. Very scrappy and capable team. Quote

Bobcat101 Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago On the Bobcats side, the team looks total different in a better way from last week’s game. Not sure if Shepherds DE was the reason (they were wreaking havoc) but the OL held up much better. Still a couple of drop passes (some would say “where’s the flag”) on a few. Run game had a few good runs. The QB situation (for both sides) was hard to determine since the whistle was being blown early…. Probably very early for Orangefield but still early for both which took the scramble off the table. Now on to HJ. BBfan061 1 Quote

Yeah shepherds D line is supposed to be legit so you probably aren’t far off on that analysis Quote

Im surprised the defense was as good as i have been hearing. Offense will get to clicking, slot t teams always take a couple weeks to get in sync. Live contact is alot different then simulated looks in practice. I think kirbyville will surprise some teams. They had some talent on O. WOSdrummer99 1 Quote
Gasilla Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago 14 hours ago, WOSdrummer99 said: Thanks for the correction. Khelvy carried the ball more than any other rb in our history. Not that he isnt deserving of the title. But we never needed a 2000 yard rb before. Most were shutting down in the 3rd cuz we were up by 40+. Hope he can get more rest this year. QB Dugas finally found his footing in the playoffs. So i expect more from him to balance the Silver O. Every team is gonna focus on stopping Jefferson. Vidor showed that last week in the scrimmage. Dugas looked good last night. I've been pleasantly surprised with the mix of run and pass for reasons you mentioned. I think Dugas will have a big year if that mix continues. Dugas threw for a TD last week and 2 last night. I'm also impressed with the back up RB. He had a 20 yd run for a TD last night. He's built much like Jefferson and runs a lot like him. He scored in both scrimmages. Jefferson gonna Jefferson. marshman and WOSdrummer99 2 Quote

Austin1985 Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Watched United v Channelview. The Twolve's Oline is big and could run block better. The new qb has a arm. Missed on the fades but threw bullets on slant and post plays. Defense pitched a shutout and gave up maybe 2 splash plays. Plenty of good to take from this scrimmage Mr. Buddy Garrity, Yeoj and AggiesAreWe 3 Quote
