Competition level definitely helps, not playing in the district of doom will help anyone lol. The team is better overall in my opinion and will continue to get better.

The positives are there, even in the midst of losing. It’s visible and not just the play but also what is being done on the sidelines and off the field. I may be overly positive but I see it. I do agree that we don’t have or get top tier talent, never really have but I don’t think competitive is out of the question, especially in this district. Outside of EC and OF it seems to be pretty open.

Does anyone else on the Prairie see improvement in this team? Genuinely curious, I see the difference and can see them starting to gel and figure things out, even though final scores don’t necessarily reflect that. Am I overly optimistic? Our OL is atrocious, that’s a huge problem obviously. The defense is much improved and seems to be getting better each game. Looking for intelligent thoughts…

Shepherd beat Tarkington 12-8 Big improvement from last week for the Horns.

They play Tarkington next week, were liable to make Huffman look not as bad lol. We can’t stop the run. Our D settle in late in the game and made some good stops but the damage was done. Take away the stupid penalties and costly turnovers and that game last night is much different. But not gonna pretend like Shepherd isn’t going to beat us next Friday lol.
