Both Dem Senate candidates are winning in Georgia.

This has been in the works for just over two months. Trump literally called Kelly “Karen” today. He didn’t even care enough to learn her name. He’s virtually destroyed any chance that we had of keeping the Senate. I actually had a friend (diehard Trumper) wonder aloud if Trump’s antics might have hurt the Republican candidates chances with his antics.... well, I’ll put it like this. Republicans won the presidency and both houses in 2016 and lost them all in four years. Even Obama couldn’t pull that off after ‘10. I’m curious to see how the rest of the returns look, but that’s a bad start with 26% reporting.

Will be a bad night for America if the two Dims win!! It’s a sad case when people want our country pulled in the direction it’s headed.  The vote counting should stop now, and resume 3 hours later, then the Republicans could come out on top.

Dems have Cheating down to a fine art.  If either Republican wins, it’ll be a freaking miracle.   Personally, I give them no hope.  Literally, the deck is stacked against them.

Nah. Dems are better than republicans at cheating

It’s over. Clean sweep.

I’ve never been so disgusted.

That guy will go down as the President that brought in the era of socialism in the US.

Absolutely the most devastating President for conservatives, ever.

And now the violence is starting in DC. Trump has them whipped into a frenzy with his whole “stolen election” BS. If a person really believes that our election process is broken, then they SHOULD revolt... that’s the danger in claiming that an election was stolen when it wasn’t.

I guess now people get to die for the sake of Trump’s ego.

The next for years will be devastating for the US.  I hope these people enjoy what they are getting.  Schumer said it best,  “Give us Georgia, and we will fundamentally change America.”  Scary!!!

Two Trumpers die in the violence following this election and go to Heaven. They ask God if he’d answer a question. “Of course,” God says. They ask how the Democrats rigged the Presidential Election in 2020. “It wasn’t rigged” God replied. The Trumpers look at one another and say “This conspiracy goes higher than we thought!”

They just don't see it, man.  This is what happens when you elect a jerk.  I'm literally gonna go on record as saying that the base of the right is just as dumb (if not dumber) than those people people on the left that always vote for the guy/gal who promises them the largest gifts from the Treasury.

"B-b-b- but the economy?!!!" Maybe, but look at the fallout.  He could have gotten even more done if he wasn't such a repulsive person.  The fallout from this mess will be felt for a decade or more, IMO.  The Senate seats that are up for grabs in 22 are predominantly red.  There's not gonna be much hope in recovering the Senate.  The trick will be for statehouses (there are more Republican-controlled states than Dem) to bulldog redistricting so that the revised districts will favor better republican house representation and possibly wrestle the house in 22.  Possibly.  It's such a long shot.  And if Trump is on TV every day proclaiming that he was robbed and planning to run for re-election, that's gonna be a bloodbath for republican candidates then, too.

I just hope that the Dems (with unchecked power, excepting the Supreme Court) can't do so much damage in the next few years that our way of life is lost.  If you take the politicians and policies that destroyed every major city in the US and impose them throughout the rest of the country, it's hard to imagine that we ALL won't be dealing with higher crime, higher taxes, crumbling infrastructure, and a departure from Christian values.  All in the name of "social justice" and "paying your fair share" to those who aren't willing to do for themselves.

There will be a repeal of those "Trump" tax cuts, and regardless of what they say, it's gonna knock the crap out of people making under $400,000, too.  There will be a student loan forgiveness plan that will shift that debt onto people who couldn't even afford to go to college, an expansion of public healthcare, and a crippling of speech critical of the left's policies, IMO.  Our area will be hit especially hard because of our ties to the petrochemical industry.  I can still remember what it was like down here in '81.  I just think that we're going to have slow, stagnant recovery from the pandemic under D rule like we did after the Housing Crisis under Obama.

I'm not happy today.

The problem isn't just in votes that are lost in this cycle, it's the perception of the Republican party that he's destroyed.  Not only does the other side and undecideds rightfully despise us because of the candidate that we elected, he's made it a point to excoriate his own party, leaving a huge fracture between the diehard trump supporters and the Rs who won't support Trump regardless of his actions.  The party fractured can't beat anybody.  Trump needs to be gone, muy pronto.

If you're losing - just stop counting - then come back in the middle of the night and count until you win.

The new American election rules ... Approved by the Democrat and Republican Party, FBI and DOJ.

- and SCOTUS

You're part of the problem.  The Repubs were behind Trump.  The FBI and DOJ are headed up by people appointed by Trump who have supported Trump in the past. The SCOTUS has an R majority that was heavily picked by Trump himself.

But now they've all TDS because they won't stand next to Trump as he spouts his false allegations?  Your man lost.  Grow up and get over it.

The worst bunch of sore losers that I've ever seen in my life.

Mitch McConnell, RINOs, and half the Republican Party want President Trump gone as much as Democrats.

When you finally realize that, everything will start making perfect sense.

They don't, but even if they did, who could blame them?  Trump's been busy insulting, ridiculing, threatening and blaming them every step of the way.  I have no clue why Ted Cruz would stand up for Trump today after Trump was so horrible during the '16 election.  Unless Cruz is hoping that the drooling Trump knuckledraggers like yourself might somehow latch onto him (Cruz) in 2024.

Why would anyone want a democratic president, senate, and house? Oh yeah, they are the communist regime. I know what is coming. May all you communists get what you asked for. What is your favorite zoo animal?

LOL!  What you get is -- Aman and Awoman!  SMH!  And BTW:  They are talking about environmental justice.  What in the hell is that?!

    • If there's a specific situation that started this thread, I don't know the details.  Nor do I care.  But I do have an opinion about what I'm gathering from some of the comments. My opinion: I do believe that an AD should leave the players of a particular sport to their respective head coach during that season.  The varsity players of that sport anyway.  I believe it's a little different concerning the sub varsity players of that sport.  If an AD/HFC decides to grab some JV baseball players for some offseason football stuff during the athletics period, I don't have AS MUCH of a problem with it.  I would still consider it a common courtesy to discuss with the head coach of that particular sport to consider their thoughts on it. I also believe that ALL athletes should be lifting and running all year.  When in a particular season, I believe that the head coach of that sport should control the reigns on that topic to implement some sport specific lifting/running during their season.  But all athletes should be in the weight room year round. As far as playing multiple sports?  I'm an advocate.  I know that the popular idea is for potentially good/great players in a specific sport to "focus" on that sport.  And I agree.. but focusing on one sport doesn't mean stopping the others.  It just means prioritizing time in a way that extra work is put into that specific sport.  After hours, weekends, holidays/summer, etc..  Just because you plan on making a push into college baseball (for example) doesn't mean you can't work on baseball during other sports seasons.  That's exactly what I did.. and countless others.  Plus, it's important to maybe learn how to be a role player in a sport that you're not the best at.  Because that's coming. That's my opinion.  And I come from an era where kids played multiple sports if they knew it would be helping.  Helping their classmates.. or just contributing to school pride.  I hate knowing that there are schools that could be much more competitive if their kids would just come out.  It's hard for me to understand if I'm being honest.
    • I wasn't arguing the point of how an AD keeps his job. The question was "what has happened to Jasper" as in their whole athletic department. They were much much better in those other sports even when football was successful. Not anymore. Something definitely has changed.
    • I just don't think it's as big an issue as what's being discussed. My opinion.
    • It's common knowledge that this sort of thing happens on ranches, out in the country, etc.  I'd be willing to bet that a good number of people who participate in this forum have had to do something similar. That said, she's an absolute moron for putting it in a book, period.  The act of killing the dog can be justified, especially for those of us familiar with how life on a ranch/farm works,  but publicizing it is inexcusable for someone in her position.  I honestly have no clue what she was thinking.  60% percent of the country already doesn't like trump, and now his most likely running mate has a major controversy over killing a dog.  Pure stupidity.
    • There are times when certain things are appropriate, and when they are not.  We can agree to disagree on the appropriateness of star baseball players doing contact football drills in the days leading up the baseball playoffs.
