Here’s one for you... do you remember all through 2016 when he was going to “lock her up?” I don’t remember her even being questioned. Do you remember how he was going to “repeal and replace” Obamacare? That didn’t happen. Do you remember how he was going to fix our trade imbalances and put America first? Our trade deficit is worse than ever. Remember that wall that Mexico was going to pay for? Where is it? I’d like to go visit. “Oh, but Covid happened” you all cry. Covid is just the excuse that you use to justify Trump’s failures. This is what all of his blind supporters like yourself can’t understand. The guy isn’t a leader. Whenever the opportunity comes to be a leader, he doesn’t know what to do but pass blame. What has he done on Covid? Blame China. That’s about it. Even today, do you hear any plans, any updates? Nope...just blame China. When the nation was in great turmoil during the George Floyd protests, he was nowhere to be found. There were an unlimited number of things he could have said and done, but he chose to talk up a special prosecutor to investigate Joe Scarborough instead. Some leader. I mean, he DID have the photo op at the church in DC... the one where he held the borrowed Bible upside down. When it was time to talk about his plans for 2020 and beyond, all he wanted to do was talk about his opponent’s kid. Think about it. Zena Stephens ran for sheriff in Jefferson County. Can you imagine if the key point she made during her campaign was to attack her opponent’s child? People would be appalled and offended-much like most people were appalled and offended by Trump’s attacks on Biden’s son.... who (like Hillary) has never been charged with anything. But explaining rationale to people with TDS (people who are delusional to the point that they believe Trump was a good President and that he was robbed of a second term) is a complete waste of time and oxygen. I think Trump himself said it best: Y’all are proof that he wasn’t lying about this, anyways.

Montgomery had a better offense than Nederland and just lost by 20. They were right at 5,000 total yards through 12 games split evenly at 2,500 passing and rushing. Take into consideration they had FBM and Huntsville’s defenses on their schedule, also dropped 52 on Crosby’s defense. Looks like Montgomery had 391 total yards on 60 plays, 196 passing and 195 rushing. Don’t see any turnovers unless they were on special teams? Montgomery’s defense was about a TD worse than Nederland’s on the year though. Kind of surprised FBM was about to still beat Montgomery by as much as they did with Montgomery playing so well. The talk of FBM fading may have been premature. Good luck though, I’m looking forward to a rematch after we take out Huntsville.

I believe Carthage beats WO-S but not by 40, more like 28-14. They're not 3 deep at every position like some folks but the ones they send out can scrap. Congrats to the Bulldogs on another title, great season, great team. And for you spatula head, you talk like a man with a wooden neck, lay off the brake fluid. Because the next step will be some jerk killing innocent people because he (like all of you) refuse to accept the fact that Trump lost. We're not talking about 537 votes in Florida like in 2000. We're talking AZ, NV, MI, WI, PA, GA, etc... He got trounced in all of them by thousands upon thousands of votes. People sometimes ask "I wonder why the Germans went along with Hitler?" Rumor is someone has videos of a payoff. I have friends at Lindale and in Austin ISD. Getting the talk on both sides. I don't pretend to understand legal merit, I'm not a lawyer and I don't think you are either. The argument from the Austin side is the game was relatively evenly called in first half, then a mass change happened, if a video of a payoff exist then TASO might be dealing with a pretty interesting lawsuit. Lots of Ifs, ands and buts. I don't have the answers just giving you info I'm getting from up there.

Which coincidentally was the same day Trump was on Kilmeade talking about opening a cold case investigation against Joe Scarborough over an aide’s death back in 2001... a purely political threat against a media person who Trump felt had slighted him. While the country was on fire. At least I can admit the guy was a clown.

Before you head out on this last trip of the season, we want you to know that your Army of Buckeyes are behind you! You are the best of us. You are our sons, our brothers and our PRIDE. It is something you have lived week by week, day by day, practice by practice, and rep by rep. Your willingness to trust it has gotten you through one of the toughest schedules in 4A football, a D1 “BIG SCHOOL” who is also playing this weekend for a State Championship, Pleasant Grove and a District Title… and now to where only 7 teams in 107 years of football in Gilmer have ever been, playing for a State Championship! WOW! What a journey. What an accomplishment! You have learned to trust the process that got you here. To trust your coaches, the people around you who truly care about you, and most importantly to trust in each other. You have seen what can happen when each one of you is willing to be selfless, and to SHOW UP and DO YOUR JOB every rep, every play, every day! He put his emotions aside, ignored where he was or who was watching, loaded his sling, locked in and TOOK HIS SHOT! And all God needed was ONE STONE to change EVERYTHING! So believe us when we say, GOD has prepared you for this moment in your life! You are bringing an ARMY to this fight and we are right behind you! The problem is these kids listen to the fans and not the coaches. The qb quit on his team after his last interception, then some fans were like pull him out and he refused to go back in. I've always told my child never turnaround and talk to the fans.

I was just paying close attention to the talent that resides in this area as well as Texas and alot of these kids move off for school as well as parents move for whatever reason and when it's time for college Texas schools pass on most and they end up going way off to school somewhere. Is it the talent not that good to catch the eyes of a major university close to SETX or only good enough to talk about at the 20 year reunions.

The headline would be more accurate if it said “Team A allegedly calls Team B a name that Team B calls themselves all of the time. Riot ensued.” Here’s the deal... we all appreciate good trash talk. If there’s a magic word that causes your opponent to lose focus and possibly even cause them to hurt themselves (unsportsmanlikes, DQs, etc.), why wouldn’t you use it? It’s comical because it’s just a word and it has no power except the power that the “victim” gives the speaker. It’s a by product of teaching your kids that a word’s offensiveness can be determine by the color of the speaker’s skin. If the word was offensive, you’d be offended when ANYBODY used it.

what was dumbfounding to me, about United’s play calling in the 2nd half, was EVERY time it got to 3rd down, GCM ran the same blitz and sacked the qb almost every time, forcing y’all into an unmanageable 4th down try. The play caller should have called a QB draw or a screen pass and it wold have gone to the house. Yet, not once was either of those plays ran on 3rd down. Mind boggling. Real talk, there is so much speed on that defense it is ridiculous, those kids can flat out get after it

We can all talk about what, will, should, could, might, probably, happen...at the end of the day, NONE of our thoughts, opinions, suggestions, or predictions, matter whatsoevever. 11 teenage boys will line up against the other 11 teenage boys, and they will determine the outcome. I will die on this hill, with the statement I am about to make. Coach Shannon Carter and his staff at GCM, deserve one helluva “attaboy” for the coaching job they have done with this group. Since back to back losses against PAM/REL, the patriots have won 4 in a row, and have trailed from the beginning in all of them. The halftime adjustments that this staff has made/put together, is second to none. Tonight, United’s defense was magnificent in the first half, the only first down GCM had, was via penalty. In the second half, that same defense/coaching staff was overwhelmed, outmatched, and flat out whooped, for 24 points in the 3rd qtr alone. Congrats to the Patriots, and good luck to our fellow district mates, representing 9-5A in the Division 1 UIL State Playoffs.
