  1. Can't imagine how ecstatic the Press must be. Their glorifying of resisting the Police, and implications of police brutality, all the coverage of removing flags (from stores), and names of Conf Generals from schools, statues. All that has created what they dream of, confrontation between KKK & BP. How sad that they're so happy. And how sad they can manipulate us so easily.
  2. I know you guys find this unbelievable. "They won't do that", "It's against the UN resolution" etc. But for most of us older folks, we used up "unbelievable" some years back. I don't know a word to cover this. Incredulous? Not sure what exact def. of that is. Guess I'll go with this oldie - fubar.
  3. Maybe they should change the name to Dept of M&I (Misinformation and Indoctrination). In far to many States it appears their goal, instead of Education, is to turn out as many lock-step-liberals as they can. Re-writing History, classes on PC social issues, relegion, acceptance of sexual behavior that many consider sinful. Virtually all of this a young person should get from his home and family, not from some PC police person who patterns their actions after the SS mind manipulation of The Hitler Youth. When I see so many, reasonably intelligent young people who can't answer simple questions concerning our country's history, I'm convinced, to much PC not enough 3R. Dept of Education? Even the name is mid-information.
  4. As I went thru this again, the post I made above, while pretty complete, didn't mention the biggest shame of all. It's a crying shame she didn't just take her ticket, like 99% of people do, and all the rest never happened. IMO the media has glorified being belligerent towards the Police. SMH
  5. Speith bogies the 9th, a birdie hole. Must have upset him. Has birdies on next three to go -10 and tie for lead.
  6. It's a shame the young lady took her life, and that her family is having to suffer. I'm certainly no Dr. but you'd think with all the advancements in medicine, they could do more for depression. Perhaps the chemistry & workings of the brain is a tough nut to crack. Also a shame that the Officer and his family are having to go through their ordeal. Lastly, a shame that so much misinformation and conjecture gets put on the Internet and is taken as fact by so many people.
  7. Your right Pam and it didn't bother me much until this. They needed a wake up call. But with this, he not only put his foot in his mouth, he stepped in poo before he did. I don't remember much good about his military record lol.
  8. C'mon LFR, why would you take me away from a high, euphoric bliss and throw me into a deep, deep, blue, funk? And no blue bell for comfort. Ain't no justice.
  9. Yep, that "wealthy countries" comment has always made me wonder who are they talking about. Maybe Switzerland? And like so many other things we've discussed, there isn't an end to this debt. One advantage of being old. Maybe it'll hold off until I can get to that Great Laz-Z-Boy in the sky, with all the Ribeye, crawfish étouffée, gumbo, and Rudy's Pork-A-Bobs I can eat lol
  10. Seems like Texas has more people with common sense than any other State. Before some of you start your rebuttal, yes we have many that don't have it, and I don't need a list. My name may be on it.
  11. Yes sad. Very sad. Again my prayers go out for this young man and his family.
  12. It appears that's the case. As Americans, we should come together in outrage at any tragedy like this. I guess most of us do, but the media still plays its political game, for IMO they too are puppets dancing to the String Masters. Those powerful, unidentifiable few who are leading us to whatever their objectives are, to a place I don't think we want to go.
  13. Hand crank. Now that brings back memories. It's also the reason my right arm looks like a 44 magnum and my left like a BB gun lol.
  14. Well look at my chest and call me muscle bound. Didn't know that but suspected it. Did know it was the best state for living.
  15. Good job SN! There's a lot of "heavy" subjects we discuss. Nice to have something to laugh at.
  16. Oh, I forgot to mention those Historians will probably be Chinese. My best guess.
  17. I wish I hadn't read that article. Only folks that hate us almost as much as radical Islam is the €#££%< UN. And we finance them. I try to imagine in 250 years, how much Historians will be hysterically laughing looking at what we've done to ourselves.
  18. Yoo, great idea LRF! Been wanting to use that charcoal on a nice rare ribeye anyway. It's a win win.
  19. Me too! My mom gave my wife a Recipe been in the family forever. I love that stuff. Ever time we all get together we make it. How much do I eat? Till there isn't any left.
  20. Seriously, thanks for the tip. Will be my next Kindle buy. Love to read. Bad back makes golf difficult and get a hangover after 3 beers, so reading is about all I have except watching them G'kids. I love that even when they use to play soccer in Ltown. Both pretty good athletes. Take after G'ma.
  21. Oh, and I may not be expert on BB but I know enough to hope the Kountz or Silsbee boys don't show.
  22. Heck yes, and holler if you do. I'll let ya buy me a ribeye, baked potato, & cold beer from the concession stand lol.
  23. Hey BS what in the world did we eat before Blue Bell? I can't remember! My wife & I have gotten about 3 different brands and all poor subs. I've dropped down to 280 lbs. I'm wasting away!
  24. Wow BG, I'm impressed with your memory, or is it your computer skills? Either way - I can't remember, and I'm better writing on cave walls with charcoal than using a computer. Glad you young people will be able to step in when I'm eating Bar-B-Q in heaven lol.
  25. A classy move for Kuchar, for IMO Mr. Class TWatson.
