I've seen the video of the arrest. He was refusing to comply with the Police's instructions. Now I'm so big I have Goodyear on my side, but only 5'10". He was several inches taller and I would look emaciated next to him, so yes they got rough. And his family is getting $5.9M? What in the cornbread h-ll is going on???? They need to arrest the stupid SOB's that authorized that.

Hey, this is first thread I'm proud to say I don't understand. But since I'm inquisitive, I'd like to ask a couple of questions: 1: is this about a transgender who's a transracial? 2: About a transracial who's a transgender@ 3: Or is this the time I'm suppose to ask, what came first, the transgender, the transracial, or the egg? I've lived a pretty long time but I'm not all that familiar with them two words. Know about eggs though.

What I find most fascinating about these Sanctuary Cities, this is the second time that Local or State Govts have thumbed their nose at the Federal Govt Laws. The other is Legalizing Marijuana. Now, I'm a proponent of States Rights, but in all my many years I can never remember Local or State Govts doing this with impunity. May have happened, but someone will have to remind me (please do). FASCINATING!!!!!!!!

The fact remains that California is going down the tubes. Extreme liberalism cannot work. It'd be nice to give everyone, everything, but they can't afford it - no one can (including the U. S.). People need to work, become productive. Provide for themselves. If only the people that really need assistance got it, there would be more than enough. I'm certainly no expert on running a State, or a Nation, but I think most on this site know if we make $3000 a month we can't spend $3300 every month. As bad as we may want. As good a reason as we may have for doing so, you just can't keep it up. You're going to go broke. As always, if you can tell me why I'm wrong on the above, please do so. But don't just call me a dumb redneck, I know that already.

And Hillary, IMO the only chance she has of getting the Dem nomination is if it looks like the Rep front runner is going to be a lock. Then she'll be thrown in to take the beating. If its still close nearing nomination, Dems will find a better candidate, like they did with Obama. So let it be written, so let it be done.

I think you may be right VP. He did good here in Evadale and the kids thought the world of him. Heck, the JV squad here last year had more players than the Republicans have running for president. Very least, the kids in Vidor are getting someone they'll respect and like.

As they say about the Latin on a dollar "one of many". Recently saw the percentage in Fed Prisons and it was staggering. Got to give Matthews an attaboy for what he said, although he's so far left he doesn't have a right arm (wonder what he does call that appendage?). And whether he's correct or wrong, like many issues, virtually no politicians want to address it. Each president we've had in the last 20 years just keep sweeping it under the rug. Now, the durn rug won't lay flat any more. Lord we need a Teddy Roosevelt, Harry Truman, or Ron Reagan. IMO a lack of testosterone has become a prerequisite for being president.
