First thing I thot of when I read that BS. I will also take this opportunity to impart my opinion/thoughts on this related subject. Major start of the people problems in this country was when they stopped the draft. Where do they send problem youths? Boot camp! Way to many of today's young people have never been exposed to discipline. And since they've never had to make any sacrifice for this country, they just take freedom for granted. Having lived through that period, I can say that most came out of the military a lot better than they went in, except for those who had to go to that political fiasco, Viet Nam. Thanks for reading my ranting but I've wanted to say that for a while.

I don't mean to sound callous, but, they use to have places to put crazy people. There was one in Rusk. That was prior to the PC society thinking we could let them loose and they'll take their Meds and we'll all sit around singing whatever in the h-ll that song is. Admittedly, I think the conditions were bad (what I heard), but there's no reason I can think of we shouldn't build a bunch and make them good. Sure sounds better than what's going on now.

I would ask y'all to look at this post again. I've seen quite a few articles and comments about how bad race relations seem to be getting. Too many are hollering racist (for the attention?) and the media is to quick to make a big deal out of it. This only drives another wedge between blacks and whites. It's not good for the country, and it's not good for all of us. As always, unless we can get folks, and the media to stop (which isn't going to happen), I don't have a clue what to do about it. Just be aware, and each of us do what we can as individuals.

You may be right PF on the Ref to Mrs. O, classless. Slap his hand & move on. Shame on the media if they "run with this", and shame on the Chief if he doesn't backup his folks. That's the drawback to social media. Say something in the heat of the moment, and hit that enter button, Bam, it's out there forever.

Ridiculous ! Makes my blood boil. I've heard and seen enough, to me, offensive dialogue done under the protection of Freedom of Speech to last several lifetimes. You can look on this Forum and see many of the same opinions expressed, many by me. The complainers are a prime example of those that will complain about others, doing something they can't, or don't want to do. Definitely not the kind of folks CBS is referring to on their newscast. Yes, get a life.

Saw it on CBS news. Good stuff. I've done it, but you have to be careful who you talk with. Many folks out there who are so hardheaded, or opinionated you can't discuss anything with them. That problem runs across the whole spectrum. Good people are good and color doesn't matter.

Well let me tell y'all some more good news I'm just finding out. When you retire, and I guess at 65 for most, Medicare becomes your Primary Ins. Since the Potus & his gang have cut Medicare, a LOT of Dr's have stopped taking Med patients. So far I've found out my Primary Phy for the last 30 years or so doesn't. Wife just found out her female Dr. doesn't either. Haven't checked with my Dermatologist or eye Dr yet. We don't have death panels (which of course they do), we just fixed it so you won't be able to get Medical care. Or, to put it in another form: we're not gonna starve you to death, we just ain't gonna give you any food. SMH

It's ironic for sure, as I think you posted recently. Why the ones got Rich w/capitalism want Socialism? Armed entourage - take guns away. What's up with that? One thing I'm all in on, it's NOT about Global Warming, it's about power. "They" get a majority believing it, "They" pass rules and Regs to control us a little more. EPA, Dept Education, both started w/good intentions. EPA did some good at first. Now, another tool to control us. I guess we're like a herd of cattle & they're rounding us up for branding. Won't get into what's on the B. Iron.

That is some good info. The first, 8 stages of Scam is a dadgum classic. Of course, I'm an easy sale since we agree. Thing about G. Warming IMO, most folks with at least a smattering of intelligence have made up their minds. And since there's so many variables, lies, falsified documents, it seems almost impossible to sway folks from either side. Still, always interesting.

It's bad enough when they report XX millions aborted, and I'm sad to say we (me included) get numb to the numbers, but the way this article has them broken down, it puts it in perspective. And it ain't good.

Young folks have a saying I like, "You can't fix stupid". Is this whole bunch that stupid, or is something else up? I've read about, and scoffed at, conspiracy theories about Illuminati, & others, years ago. Forgive the imagination of a crazy old man, but I think its possible there's dark forces at work here. I know that sounds illogical, but to me, it's just as illogical that we have that many stupid people in positions of power. Dark forces, Puppet Masters, Stupid, take your pick. Only thing I know for sure, something isn't right. They (whoever or whatever they are) are leading this great country into an abyss. I'd appreciate any ideas y'all may have that I can grasp on to besides the goofy sounding ones I've got.
