  1. Over the many years God has given me on earth, I've read and seen what the Nazi's did in the Concentration Camps. Always wondering, how did they find people that would do those things? Now that it's started here in America, I still ask the same question. How was someone raised or educated to become, what I would call, a monster? That can sit and talk about killing unborn children and harvesting their body parts as if it was just business. And if you watched, or read, the dialogue of those Nazi's, it was the same as today. Just a numbers game. Seig Heil, Mein Fuhrer !
  2. PM19, you get the prize on that video! Literally lmbo!
  3. I'm willing to agree that most blacks and whites take the Fman for a nut. My question is, why does the media continue to spray his hate for all to consume? IMO he is connected/funded by Soros, as are so many radicals. I often use "they" in my post. Not knowing who "they" are. But if there is a "they", I'm convinced George Soros is one of them.
  4. Does anyone besides me think that Soros funds this stuff in the hopes it will create a racial war? Why you may ask? If it happened, then the Govt could declare martial law, and with our military, do whatever "they" (whoever they are) want. Sounds far fetched doesn't it. I've seen to much "far fetched" come to pass in my lifetime to discount this possibility.
  5. The Repubs have several also. I think we agree, this is a classic. Political ads should be restricted to the Comedy Channel lol
  6. Coug, I'm naive about drugs. That started a couple of yrs after I graduated. Question I have, MJ was supposed to mellow you out. In your opinion, do you think today's is stronger, and making kids more aggressive? I aways think about that when one of these folks have MJ in their system. Just wonder if anyone else does. Something must be different.
  7. I'm sorry this thing happened, but Hoops you made my day. Lord forgive me, but I busted out laughing. Will we ever flush a toilet again without thinking of this lawyer lol?
  8. The young man almost surely had Alchohol or drugs in his system, as has been reported in many of the other shootings/incidents. Most of us drinked alcohol before 25 Young, good phy shape, get a six pack in ya, think you can whip the world. Diff is, we respected (feared?) the law, especially when drunk. Big trouble. Today, I suppose, that's not the case, and that makes for deadly encounters.
  9. Don't they! Make a TV show. Call it, hmmmm, Americas Most Wanted? Or, They all Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. Lol, I'm on a roll.
  10. LMBO! The world is falling apart and the media comes up with this. Seriously? Put a sweater on and stifle!
  11. LMBO. Talk about certifiable! He makes Biden look like a genius. But it magnifies a good point. Who do the Dems have that's qualfied? If they're so desperate they have to get Al out of the asylum to run, their potential list of candidates is freaking short. Methinks they went all in on Hillary, and now she may be cleaning bathrooms in some Fed prison. This election process for a president in 2016 may go down in history as the most interesting and amusing of all time.
  12. And I agree 110%. Though many may disregard the political ads that warn how we're leaving our grandchildren a monstrous debt to pay, it's the sad truth. The old saying about, "time to pay the fiddler", is real, and it's coming. As SN has pointed out, it came for Greece, and they couldn't pay And speaking of Greece, 1: I haven't heard of any changes that will keep it from happening again, have any of you? And 2: How many times will they get bailed out? What's up with that ? Why bail them out 3 times, without a definitive plan to fix the problem? Conspiracy theorist have been the butt of many jokes, but I'm all in on this one. Something's up on this deal. Add to that the Middle East. Just a few short years ago, if any hi ranking official got diarrhea, oil prices jumped. Now they have idiots taking over countries full of oil, and they're giving it away. Call me crazy, but I think all this is tied together. I could elaborate more, but I'd lose credibility with most of you. Fact is, I don't know for sure what's up, but I'm convinced something is.
  13. One other thing that comes up often is drugs. Young folks on drugs (incl alcohol) are going to do things/react "out of character". Maybe the saddest part of these sad incidents, is why so many young folks use drugs. Times have changed.
  14. I'm with you 13. Sounds like a no brainer to me.
  15. Now here's info I've been wanting to know. George has money, I need money. A match made in heaven. Is he on this site? What's his handle? Buddy, are you really George? Since Smitty posted this, I'm eliminating him. That leaves @ 35k to go. Hippie, he may be George. I can be bought. Come out George. Whoever you are. I'll start protesting here in Evadale. Just need a good cause. I know, I'm protesting Evadale having to play Iola. That's a good cause - Cause they need to be in 4A. Sure George will agree. Sorry guys, I get depressed at all the crap going on, and just want to lighten things up a bit.
  16. Forth - Evadale 25-20. Game 3-1 Buna not as good as usual, but still scrappy. Lady Rebs looking good.
  17. Second - Buna 25-16 (A Tale of Two Cities)
  18. And isn't it a shame that all the candidates don't meet that criteria. What's really a shame is how few (of both parties) do.
  19. Ok bear with this old man. Business/Household = fiscal responsible, ie. Don't spend more than you have coming in. I think most of us agree on that. I just want to make sure we understand "social issues". To me, gay marriage is a SI, as is welfare, etc. Gun Control is an infringement of our rights as set forth by the founding fathers. To me, not a SI. Now abortion is where it gets fuzzy. To me it's a moral issue (sin), but to liberals, its a "right", or SI. So I cud vote for a candidate who is for gay M. (Yep, sin but adult choice), but not one who is pro abortion. Can't imagine voting for a pro gun control. Is "social issues" as we use it, a blanket term, or does it change from one person to another? I'm asking y'all's opinion, because before this thread/comments, it never occurred to me how different we may look at "social issues".
  20. Heard we play Buna tomorrow. Also, saw they have us on their Sch. It'll be a good one if that's the case. Oh, quick question. Is it called a Set in Volleyball - as in Kountze game we won 3 sets to one? Just want to verify terminology.
  21. BS, I've been pondering that very thing as I get to work @ 0630, and me a 100 yrs old (give or take a few years). What adds to my confusion, as I anticipate retiring toward the end of the year, I wonder if my wife and I will have enough to get by. Yet here's all these folks that (most) don't seem to be constrained by a work schedule, or money problems. I can only conclude that somewhere in my life, I made a wrong turn. IMO, young person just out of HS, spend about 6 mo's studying how to prosper via Govt giveaways, and you too can drive your new Cadillac to Market Basket and spend an endless supply of food stamps to pay for several baskets of Name Brand foods. And take your free cell phone and call your investment handler to check on your portfolio. Do I sound bitter? Hope so. I got dealt a bad hand in my mid 50's but by the grace of God, got another job. Don't begrudge all those that retired many years earlier than me, but I do begrudge these "well to do" freeloaders.
  22. Wow, 45HP? I had no idea. Had a guy I worked with got killed in an ultra-light a few yrs back in La. I think he hit a power line. It's a shame, but folks get killed crossing the street. Bet it's interesting seeing it all from "up there". I live @ 2.5 mi from school. Neches runs very close to fence at west end of football field. Old timer lives across 1131 from me said its 4 or 5 mi to walk thru the woods to get to it. Can't visulize it in my mind. I Thot 1 mi at most.
