Man, this program is something else. PNG back to state! Big congrats, Indians! Let’s bring it home this time!

Thank you very much to the Orangefield coaches, staff and community for a great tournament. Onalaska got exactly what we needed out of it by playing real competition in one of the best areas in the state for basketball. Great preparation for district play next week for our program.

The Indians will see the support next Saturday lots of fellow Bulldogs going

If you are staying the night, look for a hotel with a shuttle. We stayed by Six Flags and got shuttled to and from the game for free.

Since you brought it up. Silsbee has played 12 games so far this season (currently 7-5). This is the classifications of the 12 teams they have faced: 6A - six 5A - five 4A- zero 3A- one (Dallas Madison who was #3 in the state at the time) Tigers will play two more 6A teams (today vs. Kingwood and next Monday vs. Beaumont United) So a 14 game non district schedule that has over half of the opponents 6A. Also, Silsbee will be playing two National tournaments coming up at the end of December and start of January. King Cotton in Arkansas and Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. To say that Silsbee "plays up" is a big understatement.

I think the PNG this year slightly better than last year. Looking from the outside. If they grind it out on the ground and win the time of possession and finish drives, they have a fighters chance against SOC, who I think has a weaker defense this year.

If I’m PNG I wouldn’t throw the ball again…they can get whatever they want in the run game. Their OL is dominating upfront.

Parking was easy, traffic was normal Dallas , once you were in Dallas. Not too bad.

Plus the Indian players will be spending the night and not driving up right before the game.

It's like a boxing match where last year PN-G faced the defending world heavyweight championship got a knockdown in the early rounds but the champion came out on top in the end and this is the rematch. I really feel PN-G has to work on blocking this week because in last year's state championship game it was atrocious after taking a 12 point lead. You can’t take your foot off the gas and hope to beat SOC PN-G has to play all 4 quarters to win state

Congrat's on the win Indian's! We really played sloppy throughout the game. We made a lot of mistakes that we have not been making. We had a lot of crucial penalties that we can't make next week. Mr. Bailey was on his game tonight. This kid has a lot of poise and knows where to go with the ball. There isn't very many sophomores that can do it like this kid. He has a lot of help and these coach's have the right play called most of the time. The score does not indicate how this game really went. I sure hope PNG can keep the HC,OC, and DC because after 2 straight state appearances their stock will be pretty high. These guys may need a pay increase to keep them around! They came in here and changed the offensive and defensive culture and its paid huge dividends. Great job Indian coach's and player's! Scalp'em!

Passing game kept ya’ll in it. I think if PNg added more Lh plays and Lh added more png passing plays we’d both be nearly unstoppable. Tough loss - glad to have ya’ll in the thread this week. Hope you stick around

Congrats to PN-G! Now settle the score for last year. was it just me though or did it seem PNG had trouble closing out both halves? Seems like they gave the ball back to LH when they should have been trying to run the clock down.

End of 1 Kountze 10 Ponder 6. Both teams limiting turnovers and transition baskets. And both are playing really solid half court defense.

The blocking will look different this next week against SOC. LH was cutting all game due to the size difference, next week will be strength vs strength.

More like backyard Hail Mary's for two scores. One was actually intercepted, stripped and fell into the LH players hands for a TD. LH played with a lot of heart.

I know LH runs the ball starting young, but do the kids not play catch? A few different kids have thrown passes tonight and they all look like they are throwing with the wrong hand.

Copied South Oak Cliff 10 - Frisco Emerson 10 at the half. SOC doesn't have a first down yet, they scored a tip drill pick six on the 2nd play from scrimmage. Emerson could easily be up 17-0.

Hope they practiced videoing the Slot T. That ball is easy to lose on camera.
