If Faircloth was still at PNG and Joseph was in Nederland, the Bulldogs would be playing Rouse tonight. I said what I said. Coaching is everything at this level.

Can anyone reasonably doubt that if Nederland had PNG's coaching staff that Nederland would look DRAMATICALLY different?!

I watched LR’s first-round game on YouTube. Setting normal caveats for “anything can happen” and “we might not be as good as we think,” I’m predicting a fairly routine victory for PNG. LR has some serious speed on offense. They run a straightforward spread. They remind me of Nederland or Dayton, but better. But, not much better. They don’t do anything on offense we haven’t faced before (Brenham is better, among Texas City, West Orange, FBM, and, of course PAM). Their o-line is going to be asking for oxygen tanks by the third quarter. And, they simply don’t play defense. Their plan is to hope they score 50 while hoping you score 48. That’s a bad recipe for facing the PNG o-line and D.

From 65-83 Nederland never beat PNG it was up til 84 Nederland finally did win that’s what I was referring about…. Almost 20 years but I guess you wanna go back to that route since you have those Monte shades on… 94-16 Nederland did indeed have good years… Monte record against PNG is 2-5 a win every 3 years.. so I guess he’s due next year? Badabing, anyone who has watched PNGs size difference the last couple of years and still says the kids are the same, is blind or stupid. Ned has had superior lines in the past when PNG has not, this is high school, you don’t recruit size. You can improve strength which Ned needs to focus on, but PNG owns the line against most 5As in the state right now

lol. We doubled them in yardage. Doubled them in time of possession. The only reason that game was even remotely close was because of not finishing drives, and those hometown refs in Forney trying to get them in the game. Forney is most definitely not a juggernaut by any stretch of the imagination...but they're definitely better than last season, and it's pretty crazy to think they're just the same team from then. For what it's worth, I'm not high on Richland at all and fully expect the Eagles to get by the Royals...but if anything has been shown by BH this season, it's that y'all are not consistent at all from week to week. Y'all talked all year about injuries and such but then once you score your largest victory of the year...you go and lose to THAT Porter team lol. I'm sure you'll say something about McNorth from last week, but in all reality, that was a 4th place team that got in because they faced off against Lancaster on the right week and didn't have to play against Lacy in the 4th quarter due to injury when he was dominating them.

I think that's an outstanding idea and it's not like the school couldn't afford it based on the triple story press boxes and multi million dollar event centers that are going up on campus. The problem is that Dodge probably wouldn't agree to it if he could only pick a Black man and that's what is behind this whole charade. It's funny, I was talking to one of my closest Mustang buddies (who happens to be a black man) and we never cared what color our coach was when we were playing. Most of our Mustang brothers want the program we bled for back. It's doesn't matter in the least what race the man is. We've never cared about that. It's the outsiders that have infiltrated this community or people who never knew what it was to be a Mustang that have injected this worldly concept into our program. It's like a cancer.

It's a great day to be an Eagle in these playoffs. Safe travels to and fro' and may we get a well-deserved victory!

All I care about tonight is Richland. 100% focus on that. A game at a time!

I hate to say it but I hear 2 things at the same time. I hear basketball’s dribbling and a fat lady singing. 1st play of the 2nd quarter and JB scores. 48-0 is the present score.

Got a screenshot of an email from Katy ISD staff earlier today indicating that 80% of the PN-G tickets have already been sold. That puts the crowd on our side somewhere between 4,500 and 4,800, depending on whether the band and Indianettes were accounted for in that total. And we're still 28 hours from kickoff.

I think they could've beat Athens certainly.

Not refuting the comments about the awesome winning tradition and community pride. Y’all have always had great community support in the past. But I think the school district’s financial stability is a non-issue in regards to the money brought in by athletics. Also, (just my opinion) the community should stick by their team and go to games whether they’re winning or not. That’s the real definition of community support.

I saw it coming too. Some at WOS thought they had enough talent and they didn’t need CT. I would be at the playoff games hearing the fans griping about the coaching in a 4 th round play off game when they had to punt

Against all the good teams they’ve played this year their athleticism has kept them in it, but you have to have some clue what’s going on to play against the slot-t

Please let this coaching staff go and find the best QUALIFIED coaches money can buy. Our kids and community deserve better. This is completely unacceptable! Absolutely destroying Mustang tradition in less than two years. The foundation of WOS football has always been hard nosed defense, innovative offense, and disciplined play. Their conditioning was second to none. Flat embarrassing!
