Sorry but the co-mvp thing is weak. There was one player in that district who was EASILY the best. But we live in the day of throw the second place team (or third place or whatever EC was) a bone.

Crosby went to the semi finals and Carthage beat them in non district game the same year. They beat them with 9 brand new starters on offense and two offensive linemen missing due to COVID. Just saying.

Kountze will be fine. Outside of Sells, 1 kid logged Varsity minutes last year. And those were very limited. They have played 3 games. The player that is no longer with the team is an athlete, and they miss his length, but the ones that are there are some hard working kids. I expect them to be pretty competitive in district this year. The following few seasons should be a fun watch as well. Couple really talented players coming up the line.

That’s crazy and it’s exactly why their players didn’t get any of the top awards. They didn’t have any stand out players that I can remember like other teams did and without the stats there, they get overlooked. Sad. What are they looking at other than stats for these awards then?
