Vidor gave CH everything they can handle and they have a shot at beating Kilgore to play in the Regional final. There was nothing "unathletic" about the 2021 Vidor team.

We should’ve never lost to Nederland. Young team and nerves got the best of us in the 4th. Team has grown since the TC game.

Here is little stat for you people who think CS can score 20 points on this once in a life time defense. Gilmer number 2 ranked team had minus 17 yards rushing at half time and 22 total for the game. They are averaging 60 points a game. Two teams with minus rushing yards rushing. That’s 10 of the 11 opponents with less than 50 yards rushing. Crosby is the only team that got close a hundred rushing and that is with 5 Dawg turnovers in the first half with 6 offensive starters out. The 8 new starters on offense including the QB had a lot of growing pains and have committed a bunch of turnovers. They are now seasoned and last week started looking like the Dawg offense we have come to expect from the Dawgs. CS is a very good team on both sides of the ball but if our offense don’t turn the ball it will be a Dawg win. 28 to 7 or 14. This defense is being talked about all over the state by broadcasters and coaches that have seen good defenses.

I think you’re the one more than anybody in this board that felt FBM should be ranked there. All the way from defending how they schedule, which we said might effect them the way it did last year against PNG, to taking bets on them. When you’re ranked in the preseason, don’t lose and have a relatively solid body of work it’s hard to get moved down.

I believe your statement is correct, you feel like these guys were “out of line”, is pretty much the case. When they were out of line, they unlawfully caused the confrontation by introducing the firearm when not justified. That negates their self defense but justifies Arbery’s self-defense. It really seems as simple as that.

Fact of the matter is that the “football people” like Stepp think Crosby is the pick to clean out South Texas for the second consecutive year. Coming from a guy that actually has a hand in ranking the teams that speaks volumes. We need to own the expectations and show everybody we are what we tell them.

Tigervision was able to do the first two playoff games. Guess that was a blessing. Hope Texan Live’s production is better than last year versus Crosby. Seemed like it was video only from one camera with no commentary. They had 1200+ simultaneous viewers for Texas City game.

Nice win. Thought we were finished when SC went on that 3 point fest. After looking a little off in the last game, Miller is back to playing like Miller 👍

Insert the 2-1/2 missing starters on offense and Vidor beats TCH. I say 2-1/2 cause one starter came back and was a half speed or less than half speed. The unathletic, boring offense was said about Vidor weeks and weeks ago. I think it was said, right after they put up 51 to open the season vs Silsbee 🤷‍♂️

IF you can't seal the edge it'll be a shootout. Looking for Washington and the front four to hold the line with the LBs performing clean-up. I wouldn't hold anything back and have your best athletes on the field going both ways. Based on the Friday Night chat "some" people have the Bears as a cupcake team and they are more worried about the fourth round. Hoping EC gets distracted.

I watched film this morning on Lindale vs EC. Lindale Qb looked slow at running the ball and there running back was average. Lindale Qb did have a good arm. I say this because #9 and #7 should have a great rushing attack when you add in the pass we should have a great game. EC 10-1 defense its gonna be hard to contain a spread offense. I believe the Bears can pull it off. Defense wise they run strong to one side or counter to the weak. They didn’t run between tackles much. Go Bears!

Jordan Smith, Vidor’s NG. Was District Defensive MVP as a Junior. Rarely see a kid get doubled or tripled every play, and still get in on tackles and sacks. Another stat that isn’t recorded is the number of bad snaps by the opposing Centers, obviously thinking more about how to block Jordan than snapping the football. And the holding calls by offensive linemen, lol. Many a yard. Even the 417 pound Center from Chapel Hill was nothing more than a minor obstacle. No doubt in my mind the opposing OC started off their game plans with, “How do we block the NG”. If someone ask me to describe him in one word, WOW.

Lumberton’s QB Lucas Powell (soph), WR Trey Kersh (Soph), RB Jaddon Ward (Soph), DE/OLB Brock Jackson (Soph), and NG Grayden Spencer (Soph). All played a big role in their success as young guys this year gonna be fun to watch them the next couple years. Also LCM’s RB Morris #7 was a beast this year. Great player.

I think trump like most presidents not named FDR are just average. More than half the country felt this way. It’s nothing to do with mean tweets. Trump and a lot of his followers live in a fantasy world where trump won the election and the results will be overturned. This day that day . I have no issue with the voter who says I voted for trump because he had the economy rolling.
