Jasper has one of "youngest" teams that we fielded in quite some time. while I think they will come into their own as time goes on. A game and a half under the Friday night lights going into the 5th game of the season is not the ideal situation for getting kinks worked. Coach usually does a good job getting kids put in position that best suites them, he just having to go it at an accelerated pace. Defensively the DAWGS are ahead of the offense thus far I think. We have 2 or 3 sophomore players on defense that are gonna be alot of fun to watch as they grow and mature playing at the Varsity level. On offense no we don't have a Carl Limbrick but we have some young men that have some fast turning wheels. you will see Jasper throw the ball more than you have in a long time. for me personally I have taken a liking to #6 (Cuney) on offense. While Vidor thus far is having a great season(I wish them continued success as it goes on) and the fact those young men are usually well coached and play with all out effort. the Pirates are gonna be a handful to say the least. Granted HJ is not as good as Vidor I think. they do run similar type offense so the timing of this game with it still fresh on Jasper’s mind hopefully works out. the one thing I can/will guarantee come Friday night is that I will be there in Vidor supporting them DAWGS.

Blake Bost got in for few snaps for the AGS Roschon had 3 rushes for 130 yards at the half and Adam Morse is leading one of the better small colleges in the nation. Congrats to these three young men. They are all quality young gentlemen.

Tiger by 21+ Silsbee has more weapons than Miller and Dodd and it will be on display this week I’m sure because Miller will see a Double Team that will allow other to flourish.

I think the media has to have something to distract from the political arena. It’s a story that’s a good seller.

It's taken me a while to get into this season, to be honest, but here I am. It's harder to listen to/watch the games than it ever has been. You guys in Orange have professional, seasoned broadcasters and we don't. I'll leave it at that. Anyway, Dirty is all over it. We're very young and the offense is different (we run out of the spread), so losing games early wasn't good for us. There's a ton of speed everywhere as usual and the defense looked pretty solid in the games we played against PN-G and H-J. I think this will be a close game that could be decided by the kicking game, but I'll take Jasper 27-23.

I think it is an analogy. I don’t know but I believe that Blacks get abortions far greater than their population. I believe they are 12% of the population but probably receive 40-50% of all abortions. I think his reference is, you have a group of people that are advocating for the right to kill your own people You have a group of people that are advocating for the right to kill their own people at probably 400% more than your population. I think the analogy is, the unvaccinated are fighting like crazy for the right to remain unvaccinated and be more likely to die. At least that’s the way it appears to me.

Honestly that might be the score by halftime - we won't have the athletes to match up with Crosby. We have a good passing game and will see how far that's gets us.

They ran the same offense too last year too. From the video I watched of them they upgraded to the pistol formation

I'm not entirely sure how many were out Friday night. I do not think anyone missing was covid related. QB1 was out (hopefully back after bye), we lost a starting LB in scrimmage (out for season). Lost starting TE in Tarkington game (not sure if for the year yet). Starting LT out for season. Another OL starter hasn't played yet this year hopefully will be ready after the bye. Missed another starting LB Friday night, hopefully ready after the bye. Couple of other guys out, not starters, but depth is a major issue at the moment. None of that matters, every team has injuries. Adapt and overcome... As far as the old baseball routine, Fielder, King, Abate, Bearden, Collins all played Varsity baseball last year and are all on the football team Hallman would be on the list also, but is out for the year. We have several others on the football team who played JV baseball. I know its a popular talking point on this site, but believe it or not, kids do play both sports here in BC. Baseball coaches also coach football. BC changes coaches about every 4 years on average, hard to build consistency starting at the lower levels when most of those kids see coaching changes between 7th and 12th grade. Like I've said before, the kids love these coaches. It takes time.

Maxpreps...... that's your first mistake. Only thing I use Maxpreps for is to get team stats when I know for certain a member of that team's coaching staff has inputted those stats. Their rankings usually are very off.

After they donkey stomped Vidor last year, I can understand them overlooking the Pirates.

Pretty sure the WR broke an ankle or lower leg. Definitely something was going the wrong way. Not sure about Simmons. Hornets moved him to D-Line and they can not afford to lose him as he is the best on that side. Starting RB also has missed the last two games, so running game is not much. Injuries making things tough for the Hornets right now.

When it’s all you have left… There is definitely an obsession with this case. The obsession why someone would worry about what someone else is reading or why they are interested.

No, there are not dozens or hundreds of such cases a year. There are hundreds of missing people but not when a boyfriend shows up and doesn’t report the person missing for several days, then refuses to talk with the police, etc. In probably 99% of cases the missing person later shows up at home or is later found dead of a suicide or natural causes. This is not a typical case.

Wrong at just shutting down small school. They are usually the backbone of the community. Some great kids have come out of small schools.

Saying the refs single them out is definitely an opinion. But to your credit, you pointed out the offsides and false starts which are objective calls. Like I said earlier, it’s lack of discipline. Coach needs to address those issues with after practice running, stands, up-downs, air raids…

What is the fascination about this all about? It looks tragic and all, but aren't there dozens if not hundreds of other "missing person, possible homicide" type cases year in and year out across the USA that get little or no coverage at all? Why is this particular case worthy of 24/7 news obsession for maybe weeks on end? Is gabby some kind of rock star or celebrity athlete or something, that makes her infinitely more important than all the other missing people?

I think the NFL is certainly likely - he’s smart, got a good attitude, impresses literally everyone. QB is just a different animal, that’s why there are so few good ones. If he had been determined to play QB, he would have transferred - there are a lot of schools who would have taken him (Julian Edelman played QB for Kent State and got drafted, and played a career, as a receiver for the Patriots). RJ will be fine.

I guess I’m a Conspiracy Theorist. If something looks plausible/likely I’m willing to see plausible alternatives to the given conclusions. UFOS are a prime example. I used to get that while on night patrol back in the mid 80s and the again when I commanded the gang unit in the early 2000s. Double hashbrowns with grilled jalapeños and onions, and covered with country gravy. At our half-price it was about $1.10. I had been on the swat team for about 10 years up until the early 2000s. I was around 180 pounds and would practice by jogging 3 times a week as much as 5 miles a night. After I join the gang unit I gained about 20 pounds in about five months.… literally. 😀

Uhhhhh …… double country peppered, smothered is good at 1:30am!!!
