  1. I figured that if he wanted to have a discussion about facts, we needed actual facts, not narratives wrapped up as "facts." He also "conveniently left out the fact of Kountze (72.8% white) has a black head coach AND AD in Duane Joubert and Kirbyville (79.9% white) has a black head coach in Travis Williams.

  2. My partner one time shot and killed a guy by 10 feet in front of me. The guy had a knife and was coming toward us but stopped. He looked at me and I spoke to him and then he turned toward my partner who shot him. There were a couple of other officers on scene and anyone of us could’ve shot at any time prior to that and it would have been lawful. The hesitation is real and the officer that pulled the trigger made absolutely the correct decision. It is not even debatable in my opinion. I sometimes think back about that situation and wish I would have shot earlier and I’m so glad that I did not. I am happy with the outcome and torn by the decision not to shoot earlier. I am the one that took the officer, who was forced to take a life, to the police station to begin the investigation. I remained composed and professional like my experience and training had taught. I can’t tell you that I didn’t have tears in my eyes though. Everyone handles it differently but it can be life altering and certainly does something to you one way or the other.

  3. 3 out of 4 "black" schools had black coaches? Let's see, West Brook had Andre Boutte (black), United had David Green (black), Port Arthur Memorial had Alden Lewis (black). Only WO-S had a white coach in D.J. Wilson. And that will change to 4 of 4 in '21-22 with Chris Castille taking over. Of your second list, at least 3 of those schools: Newton (Jeff Parks), Hamshire-Fannett (Tigee Rideaux) and Silsbee (Joe Sigler) had black head coaches.

  5. This is a class action lawsuit. But, it first has to be certified as a class action by a judge in order to proceed. If this fails, it will just be an individual lawsuit. I'm sure Trump's team has filed it with a judge they can count on. This lawsuit should succeed. These social media platforms can be considered "quasi-government agencies" because they have special government protections that 100% private companies do not have. This would be Section 230. It's been stated that they not only have censored conservatives but have censored true statements concerning the Corona Virus.

  6. That's my problem... when you have someone as polarizing as Trump, who turns out to be adored by the White Supremacists, the people who stormed the Capitol, the people who believe that God sent Trump here to save our Nation, people who believe that Trump will be "reinstated," and a whole bunch of other whack-a-doodles, and decent people just don't want to be lumped in with that crowd. A political candidate has two jobs... to make it easy for people to vote for you and hard to vote for the other guy. Trump failed miserably at both. He literally drove people to the polls to vote against himself. The awesome part is that some people are delusional enough to think that things will somehow be different if than 2020 if he runs again in 2024.

  9. Coaching stability is a key ingredient for success in any sport. A good coach that will stay can build a good program in most cases.

    Critical race?

Is that a real answer? Do you believe reparations should be paid to African Americans?

  11. And just in case someone actually wants to see the law that I was talking about (and maybe wants to go argue with people on Facebook 😂😂😂), for your viewing pleasure: CHAPTER 9 (COVERS SELF DEFENSE) SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS Sec. 9.04. THREATS AS JUSTIFIABLE FORCE. The threat of force is justified when the use of force is justified by this chapter. For purposes of this section, a threat to cause death or serious bodily injury by the production of a weapon or otherwise, as long as the actor's purpose is limited to creating an apprehension that he will use deadly force if necessary, does not constitute the use of deadly force.

  12. Hesitation depends on the circumstances. Is someone is coming at you with a knife and getting close? Sure, that was a fairly easy decision. I have been faced with life and death decisions with a gun in my hand many times. Some of those times I could have lawfully (in my opinion) killed a person. I hesitated several times and although I am fairly certain I would have been cleared, I’m glad that I did not kill someone. I have also pulled the trigger on someone. Sometimes it was a clear choice but most of the times it is not. The only time I have pulled a trigger pointing at someone, about one second before I pulled the trigger I did not know I was going to shoot.

There’s no theory in history, do you not understand that?

  14. Can’t agree with you here, IF he were to run again, he would win by a landslide, even enough to override the democrat cheating. All the “baggage” is being carried by the TDS crowd and the mainstream media.

I’d rather see West running against Cornyn in 2024 (I believe). Imo, Cornyn is just...ok. Not quite as conservative as I would like.

    Way Too Early Picks

Think Tyler is coming home this year. One thing you have to remember is some of those kids didn't have their breakout year until their senior season. So all those names may look good on paper, but they don't tell the whole story. Same thing happened this past season with Baltrip and Gilder. Silsbee had a great freshman class last year in b-ball. Many of those kids didn't see varsity time because court time was more important. I don't think the 9th graders lost a game and the ones I saw weren't even close really. I'd expect some more of that to move up this year.

Why have Allen run against Abbott republicans seem high on both this will only make one a loser. Might kill either political career. And now they’ll have to campaign(fight)against each other. Just my opinion.

He may be a great guy, but he’ll have to prove he is a better option than Abbott. Besides the C-19 debacle I think he (Abbott) has done a fantastic overall job.

  23. You and others said the same thing when he beat Hillary. This led to big snowflake cry-in parties, because your heads just about exploded. If he wants the presidency in 2024, it’s his for the taking. biden and his whore have done absolutely nothing for America or Americans!!

I think they have a chance to be very good. Crazy you could have two different groups, that good, that close together at that size of a school. But no, although very good, not as good as that bunch.

    Trump's ranking

Idk how you can rank a president who won re-election below someone who didn’t. Trump ran against Hillary and Biden. It really doesn’t get any better than that. And never once won the popular vote. Ranking presidents to me it’s pointless the president just give his party bragging rights. Every president will be the president that destroys America yet America prevail every time.
