Both coaches agreed that it was not enough game played to determine a winner which is why it was ruled a no contest. There were no crying. Both coaches were quick to agree. My info came straight from both coaches.

It was 4th and 9 for Jasper and they were going to punt. Silsbee was about to get the ball back with good field position, three plus minutes on the clock, and having scored touchdowns on their last two possessions. It would have been a safe bet.

Both defenses are playing tough. Huffman offense had a couple false starts and defense had at least 5 offsides that half. still in it but the offense needs to score. Starting RB is out so it’s gonna be tough. And Needville D-Line is big. The HH O-line ain’t backing down but they are giving up a lot of bacon across the line. They gotta keep scrapping.

I’m with you! I don’t dislike Jasper, but I LOVE Silsbee. I’ve been friends with more coaches there for the past 40 years than I can count. I just like the silly reactions. Lol. I wish I could’ve seen Jasper fake win and Silsbee fake comeback in person. But I will tell you, no way was Silsbee gonna pull that off at the end of the night. They might’ve had the momentum swing, but Jasper would’ve made the 1/2 time adjustments and shut that crap down. You know it’s true.

Doubt it!! Silsbee would have won more in a row if Jasper stop playing us for 3 or 4 years. Silsbee is behind overall but has thr streak. Jasper has a solid team this year. Good Luck!

Hm that’s weird how bout the cheap dirty shot that Jaspers lineman took tonight popping Silsbee kids ankle out. Grabbed his leg and rolled. Film doesn’t lie. Then Jasper dawgs stood there for ten minutes and wouldn’t even take a knee. Poor training.

Kirbyville’s defense I thought looked really good , Coy Fussell had one of the best games I’ve ever seen at inside linebacker. Offensively we looked ok the wet field conditions had a little to do with it. Timing on routes not there, lots of missed opportunities with wide open receivers. The running game looked ok at times. Offensive line looked ok needs to work on run blocking. I thought the 2nd half of the contest Kirbyville looked awful offensively.

Silsbee was clearly in control of that game at the time of the stoppage and more than likely would have taken the lead before halftime.

No, SP canceled what was supposed to be Colmesneil's Week 2 game back on August 22nd which Laura had not even entered the Gulf yet and was still slated to hit Florida.

Look, I am slated to broadcast the Lumberton/Coldspring game on Friday night. I plan on wearing a mask all throughout so I apologize in advance. If I can wear it for 3 hours, so can you.
