To me, like I've told you, it depends on QB play where we seem to be regressing. If the QB lets the ball go, trust his receivers and plays like we know he can, then the offense will go because teams can't stack the box to stop the run. If the passing game is the same one for the last 4 games, same final result as the last 2 games. He seems to be trusting his legs more than his arm...until Friday where he snaps back, does what he needs to and we leave Channelview with a W.

It would have been nice to get that game played, but we can make sure we're healthy going into those last two games.

No need to over analyze this one. WH showed why they are one of the all-time terrible programs in the state. Obviously 99% of the teams in the state would run WH off the field. And as this proves there is "no" team in the state that cannot give WH a run for their money. Credit to Burkeville for showing they belong in the conversation with WH.

Agreed. I was curious why that would be considered a trick play. Great call and players executed perfectly. Huffman coaches and players deserve credit for the win. They were the better team and should go 10-0. Lumberton has nothing to be ashamed of. Just have to protect the ball better and keep getting better at executing. No need to press the panic button.

Maybe not PNG won by 8 & lost by 6 = +2 Vidor won by 10 & lost by 8 = +2 Crosby lost by 10 & won by 6 = -4 So I guess PNG would still have the edge in a 3 way tie situation due to the head to head victory over the Pirates? A lot of football still left to be played and it probably won’t shake out like this but still interesting to think about.

Do you want to know why EC comes off as "arrogant" to people outside of Winnie, it's because they believe that they can win any game that they are playing. If you go into the game passive and "hoping" to win, then the odds are not in your favor. Every winning program has that "arrogant" attitude. I don't care where they are from, but they have it. Just look at arguably the greatest QB of all time, Tom Brady, he plays with that arrogant, I'm better than you attitude. I’m curious to see what restitution is ordered. Although it’s not like with the feds where they can just garnish wages. And over a 10 year period, short of “finding money” somewhere else, I can’t imagine it would put a dent in it. He can also serve up to 180 days in jail as a condition of probation. Knowing Judge Stevens, i wouldn’t be surprised to see that happen. Still, 2.5 mil for some probation and a 10k fine, I’m sure a lot of people would take that deal. Reminds me of the American Greeds my wife and I watch and she goes nuts when people defraud people out of 100s of millions of dollars sometimes and get like a 5 year sentence...
