Offense playing well???? Mr. truth forgot to mention the o-line playing with 4 new faces. Jets didn’t do much until the game was in hand. That happens in lots of games. Defense finally getting sacks. Jets haven’t lost every game 50-0. Jets had lost 4 games by a total of 20 points. Do the math. Winless teams need a play here and there and they’re respectable. Flournoy had 6 catches for 114 yards. All receivers would love to have a game like that. Williams rushed for 135 yards on 16 carries and a TD. That’s better than “well”. Thanks for being a “fan”.

State of Texas 2028 La Porte RB Sean Simon 27 carries, 380 yards, 5 touchdowns Folks, let me introduce you to one of the best-looking young running back prospects in the Lone Star State. Simon emerged onto the scene last season when he became one of the featured ball carriers for a La Porte team that went deep into the 5A Division I playoffs. A sturdy kid that shows great contact balance and power, Simon’s output last week vs. Kingwood Park set a school record for most yards in a game. He’s already on the radar of Trooper Taylor and the Aggies, having visited Texas A&M a couple of weeks ago.

That's obvious, but Jasper shouldn't drop off THIS much.

Frightening Percent Of The Dem Party Is Consumed By This Rot!
baddog replied to Reagan's topic in Political Forum
It was stupid to post it for sure. I wonder how you would react if his statements were directed at you and your kids. Would dropping out or being defeated in a race be sufficient? Of course not. Dems have cornered the market on stupid, hence your post above. Only real Americans would be upset by threats to leaders. Your post is by no means a surprise. I think it’s safe to assume that the gang leader who placed bounties on ICE agents simply did something stupid. He was just having a bad day. You won’t condemn it. If Jones threatens other people’s children, shouldn’t CPS investigate Jones? Surely his own children should be in danger. -

Anahuac (14) @ Orangefield (49) - FINAL
kirkwood29 replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
Looks like Anahuac gave Orangefield a solid match for a half? Two quick scores late in the 2nd qtr with a ton of momentum going into the second half, is that correct? Did Anahuac turn the ball over in the second half as well, or just not able to get any drives going? Looks like they scored 14 (all of their points) in the first qtr ? -
2020 defense wasn't bad, probably the best team Barrow had and the last team to go 3 rounds deep
-
The talent level went down from 2023.

Grades are counted for eligibility at 6 weeks for all schools at the beginning of the year and then again at 9 weeks (for those on 9 week grading systems). They could go ineligible at 6 weeks and then come back at 9 weeks or also go ineligible at 9 weeks as well.

I picked us in the poll, but I really don't know much about WO-S right now. All I know is that a win would be good for us. I was pretty high on Coach Crumedy after the playoff run a few years ago and I like him, but I don't know what changed since then. He came in as an OC from Manvel that consistently averaged 50 ppg and we haven't seen anything close to that with the Bulldogs. Good coaches don't forget how to coach. Anybody have any insight on this??
-
8th grade, 9th grade whatever grade, pick one.....won't matter the outcome of the game!
-
The 9 is for 9th grade

That was the week of C.Barbay’s funeral and they did not work out.

First time I’ve heard someone say WO-S coaching is superior in about 3 1/2 years
-
Vype moved RSS into their GHA Top 10 at #9 this week after their win over the Eagles. I can’t remember the last time they were ranked by anyone. Had to be back in the 90’s?
-
Silsbee has not gotten report cards yet. They have them every 9 weeks
-
Yes the Cardinals are playing good football now. Probably the best they have played in many years. AggiesAreWe is correct in saying coaching staff is doing a good job. They have a chance to win the conference if they keep improving

Week-7 Port Arthur Memorial at Barbers Hill Predictions
pakronos replied to Mr. Buddy Garrity's topic in High School Football
i just want a capable DB to cover #2, Barrier main guy. I don't think he can kill ya with his legs, but if our front 7 play lights out, i can see PAM walking out with a win -
Dallas Cowboys 2025
spidersal replied to spidersal's topic in Professional Sports- NFL, NBA, MLB, Etc
Dallas offense is playing well, however the defense is the worst in the NFL. Still gave up a bunch of points vs the 0-5 Jets. Just don’t them holding good teams to less than 30. LB’ers and secondary are extremely weak vs the pass -
They could have injuries since they seemed good in the 1st few games. But like I said, motivation makes you better.
-
Angleton should take it by at least 2 scores—probably 3 or more. The ponies seem a little down this year. I projected Crosby as 3rd seed preseason, so their win didn’t really surprise. But, Friendswood just hasn’t looked all that sharp.
-
Friendswood (2-3,0-2) will be visiting Angleton (5-0,2-0) Friday at 7PM. Friendswood is the closest district member to Angleton by far, being about 28 miles away. They should have plenty to motivate them with their backs against the wall after losing their first 2 district games to a couple of the better teams in the district. Also, Angleton has a 6-game winning streak going against them dating back to 2018, so revenge is also motivating them. Angleton is fairly healthy other than the 2nd string QB has been injured and hasn't appeared in the last couple of games. The 3rd guy has been getting reps in his place and the HC called up his son, big for a freshman at 6', 180 so that there would be 3 players available at QB. I did notice that they took out the starter, Duron in the 1st half against Pasadena, no need to risk getting him hurt. Duron is having a phenomenal year, both passing and rushing. He has completed over 78% of his passes for 936 yds and has run 17 times for 180 yds, a 10.6 average. Angleton has used 12 ball carriers, 5 of which are running backs with 1248 yds on the ground on 137 carries, an average of 9.1 yds/carry. The 2 most used backs, Neyland and Moore are a thunder and lightning combo, with Neyland being over 200 lbs. and Moore having 4.4 speed. This could be the first game this year that the starters have to finish the game.
