Those are the latest AAA statewide figures. Prices are pretty steady this week, but still way above the national average. In Texas today, the average price for regular unleaded gas is about $3.64 per gallon, and diesel is averaging around $5.19 per gallon. These figures come from AAA’s latest data as of August 20, 2026.

    Hard to forecast a State Championship but that is on the agenda. Basketball as well. Doesn’t take much of a hiccup to fall short on State Championships. As for the player in discussion, Lane Kiffin, Steve Sarkisian, Ryan Day, Mike Elko and others believe him to be valuable for their programs. I doubt he has many equivalents in Texas and definitely not in 2A. He is currently the 54 ranked player in the nation for 2028.

    Man, this appeal hearing did not go well for Karmelo. He may not want a new trial....... Collin County prosecutor Bill Wirskye revealed that Karmelo Anthony allegedly fantasized about "stabbing someone" in text messages sent by him. In one of the text messages on the morning of the killing, he allegedly said that he was "lowkey on the verge of" killing someone. "There is a text message where he fantasizes about stabbing someone and licking the blood off the blade," Wirkskye said at the court, the Daily Mail reported. Girlfriend reported he was stalking her to principle. Wirkskye explained that Karmelo Anthony was allegedly "obsessed with starting fights."
