Hate to give the crosby "mighty" freshmen some more bad news (since they are only as good as what many would say is the weakest link in Dayton football from 7th to Varsity).  Next years Daytons freshmen team would probably crush crosby's jv team.  The 8th grade Ponies are for AWEsome, and they might even give that mighty crosby freshmen team a run for their money this year.

Forget the smack for a minute. That freshman game was awesome. Crosby has two very good backs coming up and Dayton has a very good team. One of the best freshman games I have seen in a long time. Both teams played hard. High five to both teams. Lot of talent coming up for both teams. Should fuel the fire for several years to come. By the way, I know for fact there was no B team game as of Monday evening. Do not know why. Dayton had there B team on sidelines at this game ready to play so make your own conclusion.

Well, good for them. Coach Moore is hanging his hat on that freshman group..never seen a freshman game where the coaches were up in the box on headphones. It will be interesting to see if he keeps them all together next year or if he breaks them up and moves some to the varsity.

They cancelled on Crosby but regardless, these are the types of comments that should exist more often +1
