1.
Simple. Dayton lost series to a better team on this weekend. I think they are very evenly matched team. Not sure who Baseball 101 is but does not speak for most of us in Dayton. Congrats to Nederland and good luck. Hope to see you next year.
exactly right----win or lose like a man
 2.
From the beaumont enterprise  ;D Young boys raced out into the grass and gravel-filled parking lot for the chance at foul balls that clanked off unsuspecting car hoods. The twine hung behind home plate did not reach high enough to keep many foul tips within the park. Fans overflowed from the limited, rust-stained bleachers to standing along the first and third baselines beyond the dugouts. One of two rows of lights in the outfield was out. The conditions at Dayton were not ideal for Nederland in a 2-0 loss Thursday night and neither was the Bulldogs' play. "Embarrassing, just embarrassing," one Nederland player repeated to himself as he gathered his things after the opening round Game 1 defeat. The Bulldogs recorded six hits through the first four innings, but did not manage a hit off Dayton junior pitcher Kevin Roe in the final three frames. Hope-filled chances were ultimately tarnished. "We had opportunities, we just didn't get the big hit," Nederland coach Cody Robbins said. "I thought Mitchell Sanderson pitched well and gave us an opportunity to win." The Bulldogs' next opportunity is Game 2, 7 p.m. today at Nederland. Game 3, if necessary, is 1 p.m. Saturday at Nederland. Read more: [Hidden Content]
Improvements are on the way---soon.

 4. The only thing I know is that the Raiders lost a fine man and coach. Good luck to AC wherever he lands.

Sources have said he will be taking another job in the area as an assistant. I have been given confirmation of Coach Credeur leaving from 3 sources within LISD.
This would be a HUGE loss for the Raiders.

He has an opportunity to get the rest of it lined out. I hope he does but if not he will have a long and very hard road ahead of him.  As for Juan Lamar got a steal but the fact is that Lamar football has been going backwards and is in serious trouble.
Thanks for your SUPPORT of Lamar football, <>-J.  Statements like yours really help the program.  Let's hope that Juan gets a lot of FG and EP kicking attempts! 8)
I did not realize that my role is to support Lamar football------------just calling like I see it. If that is what you want me to do then ............Lamar is on the upswing, they will be an FBS school in a year or two and will challenge for the National Championship by 2016............feel better now?

 9. There are some really GREAT ONES playing JUCO. Some were overlooked, problems off the field or in the classroom.................but the vast majority are kids who want to play a little more.
Sad tbat it have came to shooting children, the same ones we're are supposed to be protecting by instinct.  This is the type of thing than makes some including myself think twice about planting a seed in this cruel world.  Prayers sent to these kids and their loved ones...
A tragedy no doubt but have faith and plant the seed.............a true blessing from the Almighty

Huckaby has a cannon arm and Mosley is an awesome wr. Makes the team better and tougher to defend against.
I'm not sure about that.  I'm pretty sure that will never happen.  Edmondson would get completely phased out if that happened.  Who is he going to take carries away from?  Herman? Lavalais? Espree? Redmond? Do we even know if Moseley will be here next year?  Liberty has a chance to hire a great coach.  Taylor, Foreman, maybe Huckaby...what keeps him from bouncing back to Liberty if they hire a coach who wants to sling it around.  His buddies will call him and he will have a decisino to make.  I think it's risky to change up everything that has made HD successful this year, to build around one guy who has played two games in a HD uniform.  I mean, we will still be running the slot T.  We are going to remove a QB who runs it perfectly in order to plug in another guy so we can throw three times a game?  I don't think so.  I dont' think the coaches are thinking that far ahead.  They were focused on this game.  I might be wrong, and if i am I will apologize, but this is extremely far fetched.
May even move Mosley to QB. The offense will be lead by Aaron Mosley, Darrell Lavalais and Chris Herman. We ran the slot t because we had too, best for our team based on our personell. Now with Herman discovered as a punishing runner and the explosive Mosley, HD may can run all kinds of offenses. Darrell Lavalais now, is not the only beast.  ;)But if we stick with slot t and move Cade Huckaby to QB, Mosley would be effective at WR. Huckaby has a cannon.
Doubt there will be a QB change, Huckabay is still young and needs to work on his speed. They will stick with the slot-t, Coach Huckabay is a football guru and when it's perfected it's hard to beat. Coach Huckabay is too smart to take that disaster of a job.
I heard Dayton's OC (Krause) was in the running.
Well now thats interesting...
If anyone could have them ready to take a shot at Dayton in 3 or 4 years it is Craus.
