I agree the key 🔑  to this game is get upon Hville early and keep their "D" off balance.TxH got rattled right out of the gate while Crosby never gave them the chance to recover.   Two good teams hooki

Worst game I’ve seen by Crosby’s offense. Way too many penalties, 2 missed PAT’s, one missed FG, and left with no points in the red zone twice, including from the one, and played without Dunn in the 4th quarter. But.....WE STILL WON !  Whooo!  Way to go DEFENSE.

Crosby takes out 11-0 #5 ranked Texas High and backdoors it with a classic over 11-0 and #4 ranked Huntsville. Now we’re rewarded with 12-0 #3 ranked Fort Bend Marshall. Crosby is probably playing with house money at this point. Hopefully Dunn is healthy enough for us to have a real go at it next week.

Definitely having to run the gauntlet. Next week will be a shoot out.

A VERY impressive run by this Cougar team!! That loss to Nederland was probably the best thing that could have happened to this bunch!!!!

The game went to the wire as expected.  Both teams made mistakes.  Huntsville had 3 costly fumbles.  The fumble at the Crosby 20 late in the game was huge and probably cost Huntsville the go ahead score.

it was probably fitting that the game was tied after regulation.  The battle of the kickers went Crosby’s way.  This was the game I was worried about for Huntsville.  I am sure Huntsville would have beaten FB Marshall next week , so good luck to the Cougars in that game.  FB Marshall has a lot of speed but Crosby can win that game.   Congrats to Crosby on today’s win.

      Meh.. Everyone knows this. The kid that got injured wasn't lifting weights. Supposedly he was hit with a helmet in his elbow. In my opinion the kid shouldn't have been put in that situation. AD should've told the Varsity baseball players to sit that one out. I have no issues with the lifting or conditioning. However, anytime helmets/pads are on there is a higher risk of injury. This AD showed a total lack of respect for HIS baseball program.

      Maybe.. however..  Many athletic director / head football coach have lost their job despite the athletic program as a whole being successful.. if the football team struggles.  On the other hand, when football teams are doing great but the rest of the program stinks.. AD/HFC still keeps their job. WOS.  Newton. .. programs as a whole were fairly weak during those many years of football power and very few people even knew it.  Or cared. Yet, AD/HFC kept their jobs for years. Meanwhile, I remember an AD/HFC at Barbers Hill lost his job after every program in the school won district championships and even had several team sports (baseball, softball, girls hoops, etc.) making runs at state.  But the football team was mediocre.  Fired. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that perception is reality.  And the perception is that your athletic program can suck as long as football wins.. it doesn't matter how strong the athletic program is if football sucks.

      It's only a matter of time before the baseball mafia starts greasing the tracks to run Crumedy out of town. It'll be a dang shame too, but mark my words.
