ignore the difference in the other 46 states and just focus on the four in which trump lost by the least?

Yes, because that is all that matters. You don’t get extra credit for winning a State by a surplus of points. It was designed that way by our founders. You hate the constitution or something?

No, 306 to 232 is all that matters.
and by my math, that has Biden winning 57% to Trump’s 43%.
    306/538= .57

again.......what decided 306-232 is 53,000 votes.......he was not beat soundly.....

as for your bet - not a bet worth taking because I have no idea if he will win......but what I do know, is I will vote for the Republican nominee if the Democratic nominee is Biden......

Pick your spots bro… you’re smarter than that.

The final tally was 81,238,501 Biden and 74,223,975 Trump. That’s 7,014,526 more votes for Biden, not 53,000.  Or getting 12% fewer votes than your opponent, that helps you any.

“b-b-but the electoral college” you cry…. Yeah, that one was 306-232, or a good old fashioned cheek clapping over there, too.

If your strategy is “more people hate us than like us, but we can still win if we get enough electoral votes to win without a simple majority of voters” you don’t have much of a plan.

By your same logic, Hillary beat Trump by 2,823,224 votes.......LOL

That is you best attempt? 52,956 votes decided the election..... PERIOD.  No amount of noise changes that.

Trump got beaten soundly in 2020.

    Did he?

He lost 4 states by 52,956 votes.......Had he won them, he would be President

I just don’t understand the way y’all all run from logic, statistics, and facts.

That is logic and facts.......Explain how that is a sound beating.......53,000 votes when you compare there were 158,376,434 votes.  I think CNN might even have a hard time framing that as a "sound beating"

None of y'all can ever recognize that outside of like-minded people such as yourselves, a large majority of people will not vote for Trump.

So tell us about all the places you have traveled mysterious man......why are you not making beer commercials....lol

You traveled from Kountze to Houston and now you are going to school us like minded people.....lol

Because without Trump, Biden wouldn't even be the President right now.

None of y'all can ever recognize that outside of like-minded people such as yourselves, a large majority of people will not vote for Trump.   They voted against him last time.  Nothing has changed.

And your answer is "we'll just nominate Trump again and see what happens."

I fully recognize that we've never had a president who holds such strong support from his supporters.  The merch sales, the rallies, the fervent devotion in spite of all of the proof of criminal misdeeds and abhorrent behavior, he still enjoys tremendous support among the minority of voters who support him.  But just as real and even more importantly, we've never had a president who has so many voters who are abjectly opposed to him.... willing to do ANYTHING to make sure that he isn't elected President again.  The problem is that Trump's supporters are so myopic that they can't even imagine a sane person saying "I don't like him... I'm voting for the other guy, no matter who that is."  To ignore the fact that the majority of voters have repeatedly said "anybody but Trump, or anyone like him" in 16, 18, 20, and 22 should tell you all that you need to know.

But it doesn't, because Trump's supporters are a part of what is called a "cult of personality."  And a person like myself is labeled all kinds of ways because I don't just ignore all of the facts and get in line with the rest of the Trumpers.  The difference between isn't our political beliefs.  It's that Trump's supporters don't believe in anything except Trump himself.  It's why "conservatives" will ignore his spending and economic record.  It's why business owners will ignore his failures, bankruptcies, and lifestyles financed on credit.  It's why "Christians" will whole-heartedly believe that Trump was sent here by God to save us from those demonic Democrats.

I get it, according to you all Trump voters fit in this one bucket......they are all dumb and you are Einstein.....

I think you might want to read other news other than left leaning info.....Trump increased his total votes by 11 million.  Joe Biden received 15.4 million more votes than Hillary did in 2016.....Doing the math, total 2016 votes versus 2020 votes, we had 22 million more people vote in 2020.

Based on what we are finding out about Biden, my guess is he won't even be running in 2024, because I believe Dems know Trump stands a good chance of beating him.

And just random info......that additional 22 million votes in 2020, taking the average state population of 5.7 million......is the equivalent of having the entire population of 4 additional states vote in the 2020 election...... To my knowledge, that was a first in history.....

Democrats/Liberal media are talking about him so much.  They're making sure to keep the nutjobs fired up and solidly behind Trump so that no other Repubs get nominated.

It's about the revenue.......CNN makes money off trump.

30% of my post was about Trump, the other 70% was about Biden and a third party candidate.....your response only focused on Trump......why?

A vote for trump is like cashing in your retirement and your kids' college fund to bet on Lumberton Raiders to win the football state championship in '23... and then telling everybody else how stupid they are for not supporting the locals like you do.

Trump is leading by A LOT and will get the Republican nomination unless he actually does shoot someone on 5th avenue.

The Democrats are turning on Biden as most polls they believe he can't do the job.....add his pending legal troubles, along with the Hunter mess, I would not call it a sure thing to beat Trump......The other issue with Biden is the debates, more than likely he won't debate......and ulike Trump not "needing to debate cause of his numbers", Biden will give the appearance he is not fit enough to debate........

Add the possibility of a 3rd party candidate.....If that happens, that only benefits Trump.....

So, I would not go as far s saying Trump can't win......if Trump was not a threat, you wouldn't be talking about him so much......

  10. It's pretty simple - If we get Biden for another 4 years we will survive. I don't see how house or senate could swing that would give the Dem's a super majority to do any real damage.

Like or hate Trump, the Democratic process is working. It appears and not by a little, he has the majority of the Republican party's support. The question you should be asking is why.......

If Trump gets the nomination and you vote for anyone else (for whatever reason) you vote for Biden....or, even worse, Kamala........

While Trump has his issues, and there are several I don't like, there is no question in my mind that he will do better for the Country, and equally or more importantly, I feel he will do more for ME and my family........

and while I don't feel VP's have too much effect on elections, his pick will be important......imagine a Trump/JFK ticket..........(I don't think that will happen...but)

Unless you are black and grew up before the Civil Rights Act you don't have a right to tell me that blacks and whites had the same opportunities, and that only a few blacks experienced racism. The unmitigated gall of some of you people. (CardinalBacker)

The Civil Rights act was passed in 1964.....I was born in 1965 and I feel I'm older than you.....so you didn't grow up before the civil rights act either......so we are BOTH making our opinions based on research.......You being black does not give you some knowledge about it I don't have.

  12. I've never understood how it makes it harder. How does one function in America without an ID? Also, what percent that does not have the motivation/time/money to get an ID would actually spend the time to vote?

The bigger issue is lowering standards to make it easy for anyone to do anything.  Laws get broken, lets change them.....Bails too high, lets lower it....STARR test is too hard.....lets end it......

We are letting a very small percent of people change who we are as a nation......it's going to end up biting us......

  13. It is not necessary to pick a side.

I'm not gay so I have no idea why people are, so who am I to speak out against something I don't understand?

Over the years I have hired and became very good friends with gay men and women. None of them were mentally ill. ALL OF THEM added value to the business.

I think the problem is trying to force people to believe in something they either don't understand or don't agree with. Calling them "homophobic" is not going to change their minds, and will only make them pick a side......which is counter productive.

A business that sells to the public is making a horrible decision getting in the middle of cancel culture politics........

How about we live and let live.......
