Do you think that he was worse than Trump?

LOL - Trump was elected TWICE. He's done great things.

Form 2016 - 2024 he GAINED minority votes.

Like it or not he will go down as one of the greats

But, but but, Biden and  Hillary.  I know.

One year ago , a jury of 12 New Yorkers convicted Donald Trump for falsifying business records as part of an alleged

     to influence the 2016 election.

The conviction left an indelible mark on Trump -- making him the first president or former president to be found guilty of a crime -- and his fight to erase that legacy continues to this day.

That conviction helped get Trump elected. His poll numbers went up because the majority of even minded people seen through the crap and how unfairly he was treated......That also hit with minorities and why Trump gained in Black men (24%) and Latino voters (42% - gained 7 points from 2020)

-note I didn't need to bring up Biden or Hillary to prove my point.

But of course, Trump could cure cancer and you would find a problem with it

#1 He promised to fix an economy that already thriving.
#2 Why do you and others pretend you don’t see all the corruption and illegal business deals he continues to do?

#1. The economy was not thriving. If it was thriving, Kamala would have been elected.

#2. Being that Trump has been the most investigated man in history (unless you can tell me someone more investigated), and the only thing they have convicted him of is making mistakes on taxes(which has so many irregularities it will be thrown out or re-tried, arguments start June 11th) - So what are all these other crimes you speak of?

Wasn't he deporting people without them having due process?  The director of Homeland Security didn't know what Habeas corpus meant.

    That is not true.

He was using existing laws to deport.

How do you know that the vehicles are new?. They could be used, but there are some people with a decent job that receives SNAPS because their kid is really sick.

Yes, a family with a disabled child may be eligible for SNAP benefits, even if their income is considered middle class, although the term "middle class" can be subjective.
Here's why and how a family with a disabled child might qualify:
    • Special Rules for Disabled Individuals: Households that include a person with a disability are subject to specific SNAP eligibility rules that can make it easier to qualify, including a different income test than those without a disabled member.
    • Net Income Test: A household with a disabled member only needs to meet the net income test, not the gross income test. Net income is the household's total income after certain allowable deductions are subtracted.
    • Allowable Deductions: SNAP rules allow for deductions from gross income, which can lower a household's net income and potentially make them eligible. Examples of these deductions include:
      • Medical Expenses: A significant deduction for households with disabled members are medical expenses exceeding $35 per month that are not reimbursed by insurance or other third parties. This is particularly helpful for families with disabled children who often have significant medical costs.
      • Standard Deduction: A standard deduction is applied to every household, based on the number of members.
      • Earned Income Deduction: A portion (20%) of earned income (like wages) is deducted.
      • Dependent Care Deduction: When needed for work, training, or education.
      • Excess Shelter Costs: If shelter costs exceed a certain percentage of the household's income after other deductions.
    • Asset Limits: SNAP also has resource limits, but households with a disabled member are allowed a higher asset limit ($4,500) compared to households without a disabled member ($3,000).
    • Categorical Eligibility: In some cases, if all household members receive certain benefits, such as Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), the household may be automatically eligible for SNAP.
In summary: Even if a family's initial gross income appears to be too high for SNAP, the deductions, especially for medical expenses related to the disabled child, can significantly lower their net income, potentially making them eligible for benefits.

I could of drove nicer vehicles and my son could have went without.......but that is not what good people do, especially if they are receiving benefits

I think the bigger issue is that some people are pretending to be ICE agents, and I remember correctly they are kidnapping people

    I have never heard that....link

At the same time, if that was true, couldn't they just pretend to be a cop?

Trump long has ties to Epstein.  He’s definitely traveled with him, we just don’t know if he’s been to the island.

I think we would of known by now with as many leaks that came out of the Bien Admin.

Trump also banned him from Mar-A-Lago for hitting on a teenage daughter of another member.

Trump never drank or used drugs and stayed has stayed out of "social trouble". It was not until he ran for President that lawfare was used against him.

This will be just like when the Democrats were after Trump and his tax returns.  They alllll thought he was hiding something and that would be the thing that sinks him. The tax returns were released and not a PEEP out of the Democrats

He was also easily the best ex-president.  No one did more good with their time after being in office than that guy.  If I could bet on one ex-president for sure being in heaven, it’s that guy.

I'll give you that one, he was a good man

There is no comprehensive immigration bill even being discussed. Separating children from parents is not solving.

#1. There is no need for a comprehensive immigration bill right now - We are just following the laws that congress has passed.  You do believe in following the law and not picking and choosing which ones we  enforce, right? If not, I guess you would be ok if New York went back to stop and frisk......?

#2. The parents have a choice of leaving the child or taking them with them. Every time an America citizen is arrested and have children they are being separated from their parents......the big news flash, is don't come here illegally and you won't have to worry about it.

How has he done on the economy?

That is not the gotcha you think it is....

CNN just posted 4 hours ago, 139K jobs were added, slightly higher than expected....
Inflation is remaining down despite the tariff war......

What did you expect him to do in 6 months that took Biden 4 years to screw up.....

Dems want ICE to unmask and be identified. Why? When masked protesters are allowed to take over our schools and antifa is allowed to attack police and citizens while wearing masks, what is wrong with ICE being masked?

This is ANOTHER 80/20 issue in my opinion.

This is no different than demanding under cops being able to be identified by a simple google search.

Does it really matter WHO arrest you? At the end of the day you going to the same place🤣

Elon and Trump are both horrible men who have destroyed families and made money off of shady businesses.  Veterans, federal workers and retirees have suffered from both of these  🤡.  I do not back musty musk.  However, I believe both baby and musty will continue to expose more dirt on one another if and when this spat continues.

The majority of the people disagree as proven in the 2024 election.

At least trump is trying to do what he told the American people he was going to do.....and it beats the last 4 years of a man who was nominated to run the country but if he was your Dad, you would of taken his keys to all vehicles away.....

Whatever, man. What has he solved? Nothing.

    He solved the border issue.

Fentanyl crossing the border has fallen 40%

The military recruitment has met 85% of its 2025 goal so far......MUCH better than Biden admin.

If idiot judges would get out the way, he would send these illegal terrorist home that are literally BURNING people in the streets,,,,

There's a few issues he's solved or solving

    Why exactly does this matter?

Donald Trump continues with a high approval rating

who doesn't lie to benefit themselves or family?

My Father pasted away in December of 2020, he would of been 90 Jan 19th.  I remember several months before he passed, I took him to Wal-Mart to pick up some things. That was a big deal in itself, because I drove his truck. He didn't want to give up the keys, but he had no business on the road. He had Lewy body dementia, so it affects mind and balance.

Anyway, we had to park several spots from the entrance and he was struggling to walk but refused to use a walker. I picked up a shopping cart on the way and he used that to help him walk and keep his balance.  I told him he should get a handicap sticker for his truck so he could park close. He looked at me straight in the eyes and said, " Son, they only give out so many of those, so I don't want to take one away from someone who really needs it".

Lying to benefit your family or any type of fraud, takes money or goods from someone.  BTW, my Dad was raised poor, lived on a houseboat in Louisiana and started working when he was around 10. He made a good life for himself because he seen what poor was.

Asking what law is broken on snap... im not one to play these childish games, once the conversation gets personal ill gladly dismiss and let yall have it....

Nothing personal, read what you are wanting to discuss

and my apologies if I offended - that was not the intent.

What law is broken here for starters? Lying on the application or something? U dont think they lie bout taxes? Get real

Good Lord.......has anyone of this forum said they were ok with breaking tax laws????

If you are asking what they were charged with, you are trying to argue something you didn't even educate yourself on......

You are just commenting to comment with no substance.....lol

Since u insist... taxes? How's this any different than the rich getting away with paying lil to no taxes? Ahhh the loopholes 🙄

Has DOGE went after those ppl? Doubt it cuz it would include musk and Conald and a list of D's etc

Eagle beat me to it, there is nothing illegal with following the tax code -  but since you bring up taxes......

Obama raised taxes on I think 400 of he richest and I think the top 1% - but of course, they uses the tax law to take every legal deduction they could. So did it really help.....and would it have in the big picture?

Biden's Billionaire tax was going to really stick it to the successful.....For 2 years they had control of the house and senate......Did it pass??? Nope......

So lets try again, which abuses do you think we are ok with....something, like abuse of the snap program that breaks a law.

**As a reminder, doing something that is completely legal that benefits you or your family is not an abuse.
