And he should explain again that Joe Biden getting more votes

A fun fact if you want to talk about the popular vote - California and New York make up 7,096,710 of the popular vote difference of the overall difference of 7,059,547.

This is a perfect example of why our founding Fathers came up with the electoral college. They didn't want two states deciding Presidential elections.

    Numbers don't lie......

. I can’t, I good conscience, vote for someone who was willing to destroy our democracy to remain in power after losing the election.

Then you are not on the same page with Aggie or me. I will vote for whoever we nominate that is the Republican......

No one, I repeat no one is a destroying our democracy,,,,,,,Elections have been contested since the 1800 (Lincoln's in 1860 is a great example) and yet here we are......2023

"destroying our democracy" is only a Democratic talking point. "if President Trump is elected it will destroy our democracy"....Really?  If he is elected by the proper electoral votes per the constitution that will destroy our democracy? If he challenged the results and can't prove it, and leaves office, that is a threat to democracy?  To me, that is Democracy hard at work doing what our founding fathers intended........

So stop it with the CNN  talking points

Where’s your money, Sir? That wager stands. Show some support for your guy… put your money where your mouth is.

Betting on your choice does not show support, voting for your choice shows support. As you know, you live in Texas, YOUR States vote will be Trump, and that’s where your vote counts. So we know at least 38 electoral votes will come from Texas😎

    Your bias is showing again.

Point out where I EVER cursed you.......

Your suspension was from what you wrote, and i was not just me making that decision

and that was some WORLD CLASS deflection - BRAVO!!

Y’all can’t answer the actual question. Why is trump leading among Repubs despite being the embodiment of everything that conservatives supposedly oppose? Law and order? Repubs are all about it, unless it’s trump whose breaking the law.

Trump is a piece of crap.. that’s beyond dispute. The only question is whether his supporters are just fools, or are they pieces of crap, too?

Some of us, A LOT of us, see he is being unfairly attacked.  I'll take Trump over Biden any day.  Instead of calling his supporters fools or pieces of crap, how about you support them exercising their constitutional right to vote for who they please without intimidation?......I've not once called you a fool, an idiot, a jerk or a piece of crap for voting for Biden.  I support your right to write in Micky Mouse if you can't decide who to vote for. The name calling is something I was pretty good at in Jr. High, but outgrew it pretty quick.......

    Clowns.

and despite that he is within 1 point of beating Biden in the general.......compared to Desantis getting beat by 6 points......FROM MY SOURCE

If you know Trump has locked up the Republican nomination and you plan on sitting out the 2024 election an not voting for Trump because your moral and ethical high standards want allow you too…Cough …Cough…BS then why are you still on here running your pie hole about how much you hate Orange Man? Lol

This is the fun part.....The closest to Trump is Desantis at 15%....I really like Ramaswamy and he is almost 7% ....One of the few that does not rag on Trump.

You can't win the primary talking negative about Trump, you need his base.  DeSantis was polling in the low 30% in Feb 2023.......He started talking about Trump and his percent dropped in half........Ramaswamy is talking about his vision.....and could very well be Trumps VP in election.

Wide open borders, horribly mishandling covid costing untold numbers of live while mandating an unproven vaccine, costing American lives and donating billions in hardware to the Taliban with the pathetic no plan withdrawal from Afghanistan, shutting down the Keystone XL pipeline on day 1, losing our newly acquired energy independence, getting punked by China and Russia because they can see a weak leader, having to pay MUCH more at the stores for goods, finding out that this miserable excuse for a President used his office as VP to make money for him and his family, I could go on and on and on about what has changed that will sway votes from reasonable folks, can't speak for how your crowd will vote.

Your ridiculous continuous claim that Trump is so bad that NOTHING biden has done can make folks reconsider their vote from 2020 is just that, RIDICULOUS!!!

He thinks Trump lost by some crazy amount.......It was a few thousand votes in a few states.....

He picked up several million votes from 2016 to 2020, yet CB thinks it's impossible to pick up 60K more in 2024......Now lets add in the fact that Bidens disapproval is at 54.7%, the economy stinks, gas prices rising again.......According to an average of polls in 538, Trump does better than DeSantis.....will that change? To be determined

  9. 20 minutes ago, CardinalBacker said:

First, there is not “Trump over Desantis” argument to be made over the general election… and that’s all that matters.

The most accurate polls out there currently have Biden beating DeSantis by 6 points......and there is no argument? Really?

You taking out facts to argue your case does not work on me. This is the same method you tried to use when I pointed out 56K votes decide the election......

Y’all must like it, or you’d nominate somebody that can beat the Dems.

But then you’d miss out on those mean tweets y’all love so much.

So your first line tells me you're not a Republican......

As for voting for someone, I guess we might as well give up.

The latest FiveThirtyEight polls (the most accurate in 2016 election, shows if election was held 8-4 thru 8-6,  Biden is up 6 points over Desantis........and Biden over Trump by 1 point........an August 1st poll has Trump up by 3 points over Desantis

Trump can't win is a Democratic talking point that started in 2016.......

Smith wouldn’t have brought the suit if he was scared of discovery.  I’m more interested in hearing answers given under oath in a court of law.

    • I would not be that confident in him.....if you were convicted of murder, would you want this guy on your side?
    •
    • From 2010 to 2015, Smith served under Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder, leading the DOJ’s Public Integrity Section. The Obama Administration set in motion Democrats’ Coup against Trump from Day One of his presidency. (Excerpt from Lee Smith’s book, October 2019, “The Plot Against the President: The True Story of How Congressman Devin Nunes Uncovered the Biggest Political Scandal in U.S. History”).
    •
    • Among his more notable corruption cases, Smith prosecuted the former governor of Virginia, Robert McDonnell, a Republican. Although Smith scored a conviction against McDonnell, the case was later overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court in a unanimous 8-0 decision. The Court observed that “there is no doubt that this case is distasteful; it may be worse than that. But our concern is not with tawdry tales of Ferraris, Rolexes, and ball gowns. It is instead with the broader legal implications of the Government’s boundless interpretation of the federal bribery statute.” (Politico, 6/27/16). The High Court also rebuked Smith and warned that “the uncontrolled power of criminal prosecutors is a threat to our separation of powers.”
    •
    • Smith prosecuted and convicted former Democrat vice presidential nominee John Edwards. “By not losing on any of the six felony counts for which he was being tried, John Edwards won the biggest victory of his political and legal life . . . A mistrial on five counts and an acquittal on one resulted in a clear -- if not complete -- legal vindication and a likely fatal setback for federal prosecutors seeking to convict the former U.S. senator and 2004 Democratic vice presidential nominee for allegedly violating the Federal Election Campaign Act.” (U.S. News, June 1, 2012).
    •
    • Smith prosecuted Democrat Bob Menendez on public corruption charges. The case ended in a mistrial. “The way this case started was wrong, the way it was investigated was wrong, the way it was prosecuted was wrong, and the way it was tried was wrong as well,” Menendez said outside the courtroom at the time.” (Washington Examiner, 6/5/23).
    •
    • Smith prosecuted Arizona congressman Rick Renzi on corruption charges, which the Supreme Court upheld. Renzi was later pardoned by former President Trump. Renzi declared that he had been “wrongly convicted by a Department of Justice that engaged in witness tampering, illegal wiretapping, and gross prosecutorial misconduct.” (Washington Examiner, 6/5/23).

I’m more concerned when my party is determined to renominate Trump after all of the damage that he did.

The Republican party is not "your party".......if it was, you would let "democracy" run its course and see if he is the nominee and if so, vote for Trump because "your party" nominated him.

Vote or write in anyone else and you voted for the Democratic nominee

I admit, Trump was part of the movement that got this rolling.....but he was a,so the victim of it

    1.  I would LOVE to see the media try and push the narrative Kamala could beat Trump....

    2.  Unless we get more evidence, we don't have the votes in the Senate to remove Biden....Just like they didn't for Trump TWICE, but that didn't stop the Democrats......Why should it stop the Republicans once?

The Democrats should of never opened up this door......

  16. And as far as the song......I don't particularly care for stars and stripes songs or songs about anything political. As a musician myself, originality is important to me, and these political songs sound more like commercial songs out there strictly for the money or to capitalize on an issue.......

I also think no music should be censored.....Buyers choice

And 600 trillion more votes for Trump in red states wouldn’t have won the election for him, either.

Agreed….I’ve never boasted that it would.

If you want to discourage people from voting for Trump you make the argument he lost the popular vote by millions and the electoral vote by 14….

What you wouldn’t bring up is 53,000 votes out of those millions was all he needed…..

  19. 23 minutes ago, CardinalBacker said:

It was a tail- whipping in every way possible. The fact that you refuse to admit it is why y’all are willing to nominate him again.

Like I said…. He lost by 12 points in the popular and 14 points in the electoral. If you want “moral” victory, i guess you could look at it your way.  But the fact remains that he got his tail busted my 7.4 million overall votes and 74 electoral college votes. After he got finished begging for votes in Georgia he started begging Mike Pence to circumvent the constitution and “just get me the 75 Electoral College votes.”

I mean, Trump sent a slate of fake electors from battleground states to Washington, but it’s those dirty democrats that were trying to steal the election according to people like Unwoke.  Millions of fake votes, but not a single shred of evidence…. Not even an out of focus picture from a cell phone. But you’ve got Trump in his own voice threatening election official with criminal prosecution if he doesn’t “recalculate the votes” and declare Trump the winner. Fake electors, overrunning the Capitol during the counting of the Electoral Votes, on and on.  “It was just a phone call.”  “That was just guided tour led by the FBI” and “Pence is a traitor.”

I’m a lifelong conservative and I can see why young people and moderates would decide never to vote Republican because they just don’t want to be associated with a bunch of morons.

Clowns.  That’s the only way to describe anyone who would still vote for that man. “Oh, yeah? But I read on QAnon that….”

53,000 votes could of changed the election……period

I use more words telling you I don’t need more words😂
