Here is something that I have wondered about.
 Everyone has seen the video but we have no audio. All of the conclusions say, 68 must’ve reported because he was by the ref. So were two others, however, including 70. If we look closely at the video, the referee appears to be looking at 70 jogging toward him almost the entire time.
All we are left with is two people, accusing each other. There appears to be absolutely no proof of either side of the story.
However…..
It has been reported that the referee went to Dallas and reported that 70 was a designated receiver. If that was true, even if that had been a mistake, should the play be allowed to stand?
An example is that I’ve seen this from high school to the pros, if a referee has an inadvertent whistle, the play ends. They don’t speculate and play what if but the referees mistake negates anything in the future. We may have seen plays in the past, and I remember a couple, where a person broke into the open but the referee blew the whistle. They cannot speculate on what might have happened. If the referee makes a mistake, nothing after the mistake can go forward.
So if 68 actually reported to the ref but the ref went to Dallas and mistakenly said it was 70, should the play go forward? Dallas could legitimately say, we did not line up to cover 68 because he should not have been an eligible receiver.
The stuff that Campbell said about drawing up the play before the game on notifying the officials, which apparently is routine, should be meaningless within the rules. I imagine that’s just to give the referees a heads up of what “might” happen because what if Campbell wanted to run the exact play that he showed the referees before the game, but changed his mind and use a different lineman as a receiver? His excuse of, I told him before the game what might be coming… So what? Is his play calling limited to what he told the referees before the game? That would be ludicrous. 

Hope not, but you can’t make errors like that in big games.

Yes he had a drop off but he was still decent against the run, which is where our problem lies. Also need a pass rush without having to send Parsons. He’s a monster at tackling. 
 
Side note: Parsons has had only one team get a holding call on him….. one holding call against possibly the defensive MVP and QB’s nightmare. 

I don’t want to hear any more about how Florida State got screwed. 

Point is the refs screwed up, much like they have done all year.  Just can’t arbitrarily say the call was the right one.  Lions should have kicked the extra point and take their chances in ot.

Pretty sorry huh? At least we have QBs that attract media attention. 

ESPN definitely isn’t what it used to be, but I’m very glad Schefter has been calling out how bad the refs have been across the board this season. They need more accountability. 

No one is talking about how the game probably would’ve been over before that if not for the phantom tripping penalty they called on Hendershot on Dallas’s previous drive that sent them back to a 1st and 25 around the 45 yard line. The tape clearly showed Hutchinson sticking his leg out to try and trip Pollard as he ran by, but the penalty somehow got called on Dallas. Calling that correctly would’ve set Dallas up with a 1st down around the 15 yard line. Oh well

Pretty sorry huh? At least we have QBs that attract media attention. 

It's sad for them but UGA just proved FSU didn't belong. Maybe they lose by only 30 with a full roster. Lol.

It would be fun for Texas vs Michigan and Texas comes out on top. Then Texas can say they beat every playoff team this year…

With the FBI plants in the January 6th crowd, no one believes this was all planned just for this to happen? How blind can everyone be?

I find it hilarious that the negative people haven’t pounced on the Patriots when Brady was there. Talk about a pansy division. They were guaranteed a playoff spot every year. Of course Brady was the best, but no one ever questioned who they had beaten.
49ers lost to the Browns and Vikings on the road in consecutive weeks and then to the Bengals at home. The Browns didn’t have a winning record when they beat them. Minnesota was 2-4 when they beat them. The Bengals were 3-3 when they beat them. Remember, these are teams with losing records that beat the 49ers in consecutive weeks…..yet we sing their praises and pounce on the Cowboys. What a joke. Come at me with a little more substance than hatred.

They could win 100 in a row, lose one and people would say,”See, what did I tell you?” So easy to be negative. 

I went to the doctor for that... All cleared up. Even the rash is almost gone.

I want to say congrats to PNG on winning the state title. I, like so many others thought that was a terrible PI call. All the replays they showed during the game showed both players going up for the ball with absolutely no interference on the play. I know we have bad calls here and there, but game changers like this are tough to get over. During the Duncanville/Galena Park game, they showed highlights from the PNG game. It showed the PI play from a field angle that showed the entire route the PNG player ran. As he entered the end zone and made his turn to the ball, the defender was holding his arm and jersey. Why this particular replay was not shown during the game is beyond me. It was definitely PI and a good call. I hope PNG fans can understand why people like me were misled.
Anyway, it made me feel better and PNG’s victory is a great one over SOC going for a 3-peat. PNG represents our district, area, and region, and we should all be very proud for them.
