Cy-Fair, the school district that's 80% minority? How is this relevant to the midterms? It's wild watching y'all try to frame the left winning elections that the left was supposed to win as a "blue wave." I guess if y'all can fake it enough you think you'll generate party excitement and help the vote at the midterms? It's the only thing that makes sense at this point.

Well NYC just sealed their fate.  How stupid can some Americans be?  I guess pretty damn stupid!  All I can say is they are about to get what they deserve.  God help us.

I believe that everyone receiving SNAP, welfare, and Section 8 housing should reapply and be reevaluated every 2 years. I’m sure lots of these claims are for children who have out grown the benefits. The cradle to grave industry has to stop. This shutdown has shown just how many people the government controls. Sad, ain’t it? I raised my family. No one else did.

It’s like Bam Morris, RB for Pittsburgh, got pulled over and cops found 6 lbs. of weed in his trunk. Morris’ response, “That ain’t mine”. Did they believe it belonged to someone else? Lmao.

There should be a $500 dollar limit per month on “food” benefits. The kids get two meals per day at school, so there would only be a need for one meal per day plus weekends. Some places even have summer feedings for kids. The benefits are meant to keep people from starvation, not enjoy snow crab legs. If there wasn’t so much abuse, these programs would work.
I personally believe it is a joke to think some of these people are employable. They have no job skills and they could possibly break a nail. Entitlement attitudes would surely be grounds for early dismissals.

Manning looked VERY good. That no-call was ridiculous. Instead of a first down and eating up however much more clock and then at worst getting a close FG attempt Texas missed a 51-yarder instead. Vandy scored on the next play. The score doesn’t definitely doesn’t show how well Texas played for the first 3 1/2 quarters.

The right is offering a clean bill. The left, who as you point out has zero branches of control, is trying to hold the bill hostage to force liberal policy. But it's the right's fault. It's wild watching you guys spin it. It's gonna hurt y'all in the long run, though. The fringe lunatic left are the only ones actually buying it. I guess it makes sense that the party of entitlement thinks they're entitled to get something they want out of an unrelated bill to keep the government open and then blames everyone else when they don't get it. But hey, keep alienating those swing voters and moderates. Y'all already have the SNAP vote, so the republicans aren't losing anything there. Besides, it's not like most of them can't figure out who's really behind this all anyway.

Pretty amazing the progress, hopefully future presidents are taking note.

Why not write your senator and tell him/her to vote for the clean CR? It would keep the SNAP funds from being cut off.
