  1. i'm in. thought hard about trying to get them back up and running myself the last couple of years, but never got around to doing it.
  2. make your prediction and then i'll lock it the page before 😁
  3. Except this is usually what happens: Kid from area A (low socioeconomic area) moves to area B (low socioeconomic area) that just so happens to have one of the best football or basketball teams in the state, where they’re immediately a starter, along with multiple other kids doing the same thing. I’ve been to South Oak Cliff. It’s not an affluent area, and people aren’t moving there for better job opportunities. But if somehow someone does, and they want their kid to play sports, it should be pretty easy to prove that they’re improving their financial situation with the move. Likewise, if they moved houses and are now commuting an hour to work, or moved to a parallel dead end job, well…
  4. Or at least “job related.” Dad takes a new coaching job there… allow it. Dad transfers from the Arlington McDonald’s to the one in South Oak Cliff for no reason, maybe not.
  5. I'm seeing 36-16 in the first, Gordon leading. is that correct?
  6. unfortunate for those kids but would still benefit texas high school sports as a whole. I think there could be some very cut and dry requirements (a divorce or death certificate, for example) that would allow for a transfer without sitting out. Moving apartments across town to be closer to the better football team and saying you moved because the apt was cheaper just wouldn't be one.
  7. wonder why RG picked whiteface...
  8. can't tell if this is sarcasm or not, as they're struggling this year. I think he was a good hire, but these last few years HJ hasn't had the players that they're accustomed to. Not sure what they have coming up from the younger grades.
  9. pretty sure last week's 90-48 win over Klondike was their only game all year that didn't end with the mercy rule.
  10. I wonder how long (if ever) it’s been since Hamshire-Fannett boys and girls swept HJ in Sour Lake
  11. What happened in this one?
  12. Massive 3rd quarter for the horns! They lead 50-35 after 3
  13. Horns up 43-35 with 3:00 left in the 3rd, and HJ just got a tech
  14. Didn’t realize how good BH has been this year. 2-pt loss to 6A #2 Allen, OT win over 6A #6 N. Crowley, loss in 4 OTs to 15-3 6A Cinco Ranch, wins over north shore and summer creek. Dang impressive so far
  15. Maybe Jasper is a little better than I thought?
  16. Horns win! 62-58! What a win
