  1. what a tragedy this was, and completely avoidable.
  2. it's gotta feel pretty good to get run off from one school and land at a school that went 10-2 the year before, with both losses being competitive against two of the better teams in the state. It's gotta feel even better to get the opportunity to immediately face the team that just ran you off.
  3. This is the most common factor. Our two biggest rivals at Hamshire-Fannett are East Chambers and Hardin-Jefferson. It's no coincidence that our communities border each other, and that we have neighborhoods that split residency with each of these schools. Of course, now that the Horns have improved in almost every sport it's hard to get EC to schedule us for much of anything 😁 another big factor can be meeting a team regularly in the playoffs. If PNG and SOC meet 20 years from now in the playoffs there will be a little extra buzz around that game.
  4. wins over PNG and Nederland in district, and have lost to West Brook by 5 and PAM by 7. They're bottom 3 in the district, but also unlucky to be in this district. They're decent.
  5. the article still doesn't say what you claimed in your first post, even if you choose to ignore the rest of the article, which completely refutes your first post.
  6. only by 5 touchdowns, though.
  7. At this point I'm not sure I can simplify the points I'm making enough to get them to where you can understand them.
  8. It wasn’t that bad, and the play that happened before the T was the easiest foul they called all night.
  9. Chirping from the Tarkington bench finally results in a T. HF make 1 of 2. 57-44 with 1:50 left
  10. Tarkington with an 8-0 run before a big and-1 for HF to stop the momentum a little. HF up 54-42 with 3.30 left
  11. After going over 7:30 without scoring Tarkington finally hits a 3. HF up 51-37 with 5:00 left
  12. HF up 47-34 after 3. Monster run to end the 3rd! Finished on a 13-0 run
  13. HF with a steady diet of Starnes down low in the 3rd. Drawing fouls and making buckets. HF up 36-34 mid 3rd
  14. Tarkington leads 29-27 at the half. Horns bench came up big in the 2nd q to close the gap
  15. Tarkington up 17-9 after 1. Their defense has slowed the horns quite a bit
  16. Tarkington up 13-5 mid first. Getting open looks from deep and hitting them. HF struggling from outside the arc
  17. HF 59 Tarkington 42 final
  18. HF up over Tarkington 21-8 after 1. It was 18-0 before Tarkington scored
