  1. Alllllll that being said, (and I love them Tigers) Silsbee ain’t gonna make it past Carthage next year without Divine intervention.
  2. I guess I’m not understanding why you continue to ride my butt over something I commented to someone else.
  3. The confusion is derived from stupid comments...among other things.
  4. ALLOUT Now?
  5. Do you think it’s time for a coaching change then?
  6. So if Carthage is the best (undefeated State Champs) then the only way for them to be the best is to beat themselves. But if they beat themselves, then they’re not really the best. Wait a minute...I’m confused.
  7. No one has given you a good answer yet. I don’t know the answer. Regardless of other sports or the number of coaches at smaller schools, etc., all of the schools could be given the choice, one would think.
  8. Had to stay over at work. Gonna miss the damn game. Let’s go get em Tigers!
  9. Isn’t Ludacris a rapper now? Didn’t know he played QB for Silsbee. Interesting...
  10. Congrats to all those kids who made the list. Good job!
  11. Up Next: Stangs & Tigers!
  12. Way to finish it up. Tigers in the Victory formation.
  13. Let’s keep it up!
  14. Gotta make some adjustments at the 1/2.
  15. Let’s keep it going Silsbee!
  16. Cmon Tigers. Let’s get it going!
  17. I see Carthage 45-16
  18. You are correct, and I do recognize that. But one aspect I don’t recognize is that you have to have an ethnic “good mix of kids” to be Successful! You said, “They’ve got a great mix of blacks, whites, and Mexicans. The perfect blend if you will.” You also said that the “perfect blend” or a “good mix” was crucial to success and that in the “coaching world” that pretty much everyone knows this. I just happen to think your NUTS! Read BmtSoulja1’s post: “If they can play and ball, they can play and ball...”
  19. I hear you, but I don’t think Uncle Pig meant that at all. I’m not even sure I understand your comment totally. Are you saying that without a mixture of races in our area that a team can’t be successful? In other words, are you saying that each race brings something to the table that the other one can’t? Question: If you had a school with mostly Asian kids - let’s say they are Viet Namese, some Italian kids and a few American Indian kids, would that provide a good balance DNA, culture, coachability that we need to have a winning program? What does race have to do with flipping “coachability”??? Omg...where do these people come from? Read BmtSoulja1’s post. He’s got the answer...
  20. Thanks for the clarification and "helping me out", my man. Still an odd opinionated comment. Lol. Are there certain percentages that the "coaching world" sees as more beneficial to success? Cuz I don't think the NFL coaches agree with that... NFL stats: Approx 70% African American. Less than 30% white and a scant percentage of all other races...but what do they know... I don't think that a good "(racial) mix of kids" is crucial to a program's success, necessarily. While it may have a positive societal impact, it probably doesn't put points on the board. Anyhow, it's a non-issue I guess. I was just wondering where your comment came from...
  21. Not sure I understand the context of this reply. Harmless, I’m sure. Just and odd comment.
