  1. Thanks. I think the World-O-Meter gets most of their info from the questionable WHO. I wonder if they treat all the other stats (flu, smoking, etc) the same way they do the CV-19 deaths?
  2. Cruz Hussey Beard Wright
  3. If you don’t mind, where did those numbers come from?
  4. No need to finish it. I read it. Threw up. Read it again to fully understand it. Threw up again.
  5. Yep. Lynyrd Skynyrd’s response to Neil Young. Priceless.
  6. Lmao. I’m a music guy. Kind of a reference to Neil Young’s song, “Southern Man”. Song has a stupid message, but it rocks!
  7. I know what you’re saying. I just don’t agree with the premise that you are trying to imply that good old southern slavery is the same as the government making you pay your taxes or buy a fishing license. Apples versus oranges.
  8. No. It doesn’t reach. Apples vs Oranges. Both fruit but not the same things.
  9. Ok. So we are even slaves to this website. If we don’t follow the rules, then we are out. We are slaves to EVERY fathomable thing in existence that has rules. There has been slavery since Adam & Eve with your reasoning. So, let’s start over... What’s your point to this topic again?
  10. You’re silly. You’re not a slave. And You never answered my question. Do you serve a higher being? God, for instance? Are you His slave? What about your parents? Are/were you enslaved by them? Your Employer? Are you a slave to your boss? With your line of thinking, then we are ALL slaves and always have been and always will be. There is a level of free will to be considered though. You have a choice. You choose to live a certain way or in a certain society, so you have to live within the confines of YOUR free will choices. But like good old Bob Dylan said, “Well it may be the devil, or it may be the Lord, but you’re gonna have to serve somebody...”.
  11. So, are Christians slaves to God/Jesus? Are we slaves of our parents? I think you have a rather loose interpretation of slavery.
  12. I agree. I guess it’s a matter of viewpoint, but I never had the $h!+ whipped out of me when I go get my fishing license at Walmart...
  13. I understand where you were headed with this. I just don’t consider it slavery.
  14. So that’s why Nancy Pelosi has been spotted buying stamps in bulk at the post office recently...
  15. Is that conjecture, fact or just painting a caricature of the situational responses?
  16. Saw him in Houston at Roxy’s in 1980 or so. Such a talent.
  17. The truth is, we don’t know anything concrete about the numbers in China. They only let us see what they want us to. It’s difficult to hypothesize when you’re dealing with phantom information.
  18. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  19. Well, it’s not as if he’s having a tummy tuck.
