  1. That’s very true. Just wasn’t the case this time. Carthage is a great team though. Man those kids and coaches are good!
  2. Good job to our Tigers. Keep it rollin!
  3. 49-14 is a tough time? Just be glad B-Ball is here, so you can find something else to talk about.
  4. Dyslexia or agitation? Either way it was 49-14. Or more likely you have no idea what you’re talking about. Smh.
  5. Soft? It was a 5 point ball game. Good run Huffman.
  6. Still scored more than everyone else. Carthage has brought in subs at the end all year. Hell, Palestine got shut out by Carthage. They beat Huffman tonight to go to the 3rd round. Good job Raiders.
  7. Jacksonville 0 Liberty-Eylau 7 Marshall 6 Gilmer 15 Pleasant Grove 14 Van 7 Chapel Hill 14 Palestine 0 Henderson 14 Kilgore 11 Athens 14 LUMBERTON 17 Some real quality teams up there... The Train scored more than all of them. No, it wasn’t a close game, but I’m proud of our boys. Great job Raiders.
  8. You just said “Neither or you”... point made.
  9. You’re not very smart...but you already knew that.
  10. Nobody done it yet...
  11. Lmao. I was there!
  12. Tell em how it is RaiderGirl!
  13. Cancel the trip! The Raiders are playing!!!
  14. Since the Train got rescheduled to Friday, I’m gonna miss the Silsbee game. See y’all at Raider Stadium.
  15. I don’t know enough about Palestine to make a prediction, so I’m just gonna wish Huffman Hargrave the best of luck! Go get em and represent our district well!
  16. 1. I said I would address the coaches in a PM if you wanted. Maybe abuse was better than negligence, anyhow. 2. I guess your own kids aren’t either? Just wondering what you meant. I had 2 cheerleaders (high school and college). Not necessarily up my alley. I went to their competitions and camps to support THEM, not their sport.
  17. I didn’t attack you. It’s just an opinion. And sometimes those opinions are backed up with facts. Some aren't. I've been around and involved with people for a long time. Working for them, working them, listening to them, talking to them, etc. I'm unbiased with my opinions. My friends or not.
  18. Had to wait til noon buddy.
  19. Good thing you didn’t say, “or stupid...” ✌
  20. What a wonderful outlook! You oughta be like a motivational speaker or something.
  21. I won it again! In my dreams last night. It keeps recurring every year in the playoffs.
  22. Lmao. Touche’. Although I’ve heard from the looks of it, you were actually from that generation.
  23. I’ve got a section of 25 reserved, and you are more than welcome to sit with us. PLENTY of room for you and whomever you want to bring. It’d be an honor. Except please don’t bring Cardinalbacker.
  24. You don’t know where I’m sitting or where I’ve been. I’m not going to post the real issues I have with the coaches. If you want to know, I will PM you. The attendance at the home games is just like it was at their playoff game. I’m quite sure some parents had to work. But I’ll bet that’s not the case all the time. I was raised by a single mom with 5 brothers and sisters. Financially we had nothing. Ever. I worked since age 12 and had 2 part-time jobs in high school. I bought my own school clothes, paid for my school lunch because my mom wouldn’t sign up for the free/reduced lunch program. She said that there were other families that weren’t as “fortunate” as us to have 3 people in the family that could work (my mom, my older teenage sister and me). She gave us everything she had. I attended High School at Westbury in Houston my Freshman year. I dropped out of school as a freshman and went to work at a record store on S Post Oak. Rode my bike that I bought babysitting, throwing newspapers and cleaning the grounds and laundromat at our apartment complex. 7 of us in a 2 bedroom apartment, by the way. Started the 9th grade back in the fall at Westbury but soon moved to Lumberton in early September. I was a big kid, and I lifted weights and jogged on my own that summer. The counselor at Lumberton asked me if I ever thought about playing football. I told him yes, and I played football for the first time. I worked all through high school and graduated with honors. Attended Lamar where I also played for coach Ray Alborn. Playing high school football literally brought me from the ashes. I don’t know where YOU came from or what you do now, but I sure as Hell know where I’ve been.
