  1. Thanks for posting...
  2. Great acceptance speech from H. Proud of him.
  3. Yep. They're in my regular "bean" rotation ever since you told me about them several years ago. I love 'em! I usually can only find them locally at HEB though.
  4. Exactly. Here's my go to when I want to change it up. Big Daddy's Beans (Yes, they call me "Big Daddy") Pound of pinto beans, anasazi beans (learned about these from @tvc184) or red beans. Pound of ground beef Pound of jalapeno sausage (I use my deer jalapeno cheese sausage) Large onion - yellow or white Can of rotel Pinto bean seasoning, tony's or some other season salt Garlic powder Black pepper 3 bay leaves Cook it like you cook beans normally - on the stove, instant pot, crock pot etc. Serve with some rice, cornbread and real butter. I have several bean variations, but this one is real good with the jalapeno sausage...
  5. Didn't know there was any other way!
  6. I read that on FOX earlier. Not surprised at all. The bad thing about it is, if she ran for re-election, in California, she might be elected again.
  7. Luckily, I never said no one should be arrested. I just made the astute claim that no one will be arrested. But I will walk that back just a little bit. IF someone is arrested, it will be someone of LITTLE or no consequence. Further, even though being arrested, that person would probably do very little if any time.
  8. While some concepts of Ayn Rand's "philosophy" are interesting and true, she's hard to take as a whole. I studied her work quite a bit in the early 90's in my political science days. Most of her arguments are theoretic and less evidence-based. Plus she's a hypocrite. Lol. Despite the fact that she strongly criticized government programs, she received Social Security and Medicare in her later years. She was a radical, and as with most radical approaches, the real answer lies closer to the middle.
  9. No one will be arrested. Anyone who thinks that is foolish.
  10. I'm going to go out on a limb and say you've read and/or commented and dozens of posts I've made. You know as well as I do, that post was made partly in fun (except the part about my brother). C'mon man. Don't bs your own self.
  11. Not true: First of all, pedophilia is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult (or even an older adolescent) experiences a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children. For girls that's generally 10 to 12 - boys a little older... I don't know even any leftists that are accusing Trump of a pre-pubescent relationship. I think that was Biden's bag, and for the record, I would not even defend my own son if here were proven to be a pedophile. Secondly, all my comment really proves is that I enjoy stirring the pot and jerking the chain of the members of TDS who can't help taking the bait every time. Show me credible evidence of Trump being a pedophile.
  12. I wish any of this mattered...
  13. You don't know how happy that makes my heart. Lord, I wish I had done that...
  14. And the irony of that is that his most famous recording was a song written by John Prine & Steve Goodman. Lol.
  15. Always wondered why she didn't go public with the claims until Trump became a politician nearly 24 years later...
  16. Well that's a different story. Kinda depends on the relative. If they were real close to me or underage at the time, the deal might go down differently, but all things being equal, here's what my generic starter deal might be: I would get with the relative, extort Trump for a 7 figure payoff and maybe a spot in his cabinet, split the money with the relative - not sure what the split would be - and then vote for Trump. If it was a "no deal" for him, I would probably get all the facts together, write a book for a shuck ton of money and try to get him to sign the book - maybe 2 or 3 copies. Keep one copy, sell one copy for another sizeable amount of cash and keep one hidden that my grandkids can sell somewhere down the road after I've passed. I would release the book after I voted for Trump. Stop by the publisher on my way home from the Volunteer Fire Station polls in Lumberton. If the victim were my brother (this is all hypothetical), I would laugh my a$$ off and tell all our friends. Then go vote for Trump.
  17. Oh, it's definitely not a deal breaker for me. Give me a pedophile conviction, a rape conviction - then we'll talk. It's messy, but you can't get around those pesky laws, due process and all that other constitutional Bill of Rights mumbo jumbo...
  18. Incorrect my esteemed feathered friend. You’re refuting my point that Trump was convicted of sexual abuse. That’s what he was convicted of. Not rape. The judge’s points in a tethered defamation case have no bearing on the actual criminal conviction. If we are going to speak facts, then let’s do it.
  19. Not that I’m aware of. Trump’s an overachiever though. Gotta give him that. Lol.
  20. I sure hope so. This jaywalking level crap is embarrassing for us conservatives. Hopefully there will be something relevant with some teeth.
  21. That being said, this Comey crap is stupid.
  22. Technically that’s incorrect. I believe a lesser degree of “sexual abuse” was the verdict according to the AP 5/9/23. Martha Stewart is a felon. Pretty harmless person. Mark Wahlberg is a felon. Kinda of a great guy though. Malcolm X, yep, a felon. Not my guy, but millions love him too. There’s a whole laundry list.
  23. He was hospitalized for a time and is now on a shortened work week. Dude is 90. Lol. Can’t blame him.
