  1. He also doesn't have to give them all the federal funding they have been getting...about $9 billion, I believe. Oh, and it's annihilate, not aniliate...
  2. Although we disagree on a great deal of issues, I'll say, that was FUNNY! Lol.
  3. In 2013, the Committee to Protect Journalists released a report titled “The Obama Administration and the Press,” which began with this paragraph: “U.S. President Barack Obama came into office pledging open government, but he has fallen short of his promise. Journalists and transparency advocates say the White House curbs routine disclosure of information and deploys its own media to evade scrutiny by the press. Aggressive prosecution of leakers of classified information and broad electronic surveillance programs deter government sources from speaking to journalists.” I've got a whole lot more where that came from. The liberal New York Times stated: “Over the past eight years, the (Obama) administration has prosecuted nine cases involving whistle-blowers and leakers, compared with only three by all previous administrations combined. It has repeatedly used the Espionage Act, a relic of World War I-era red-baiting, not to prosecute spies but to go after government officials who talked to journalists.” Politicians are scum - both sides. "Your guy" ain't no better than the other guy...
  4. Agreed. There has to be a better way.
  5. Look, I hope he rots in hell... after he gets due process. It's the cornerstone of our entire legal system. 1. There was an existing court order that said he couldn't be deported back to his home country - litigate the order and rescind the order THEN deport him. 2. He was claimed to be a member of MS-13 which has been deemed to be a terrorist organization by the US government - prove it and send him wherever the hell you want - AFTER due process I don't want to live in a world where we pick and choose parts of the constitution to follow out of convenience. If he is truly worthy of being deported, which he probably is, then we should take the time to litigate it the right way...
  6. Then you don't think everyone should get due process. I think we got it wrong on this one... Prove his MS-13 gang membership and THEN boot his a$$ out based on the terrorism laws. We can't pick how to apply the rule of law and due process based on thoughts & feelings.
  7. Not necessarily.
  8. And the glaring point that the "defenders" of the attacker aren't adequately addressing is that he showed up to school with a knife in his possession...
  9. I don't think that warrants a capital murder charge all by itself.
  10. Yeah, just humans. But my comment “Until it escalates into something bigger that is…” relates to all lives - including Americans. Your comment just shows you have nothing of substance to say about my posts. Just Trump bitching which is typical.
  11. Russian and Ukrainian for now. Until it escalates into something bigger that is.
  12. That’s not a credible response.
  13. A healthy amount, but nothing crazy. Gonna hold my water for just a bit longer.
  14. Not necessarily true. If you're smart, take advantage of the lows. Buy up competent stocks that will come back with a vengeance once the smoke clears. That's the thing about the market, by and large, you don't gain/lose anything until you sell... I plan on coming out of this smelling like a rose if I play my cards right.
  15. Lol. What's really dumb is being ANYTHING and voting Democrat! Lmao...
  16. That is my opinion also. Merely opinion though.
  17. Go back to sleep. The adults are talking.
  18. Until the Supreme Court decides whether nationwide injunctions are lawful, they will continue to be used by BOTH sides as a remedy to attain each party's goals. Which is exactly my point. I love Senator John Kennedy to death, but the part he is leaving out is that both sides have used them (national/universal injunctions) and will continue to use them until a decision is made on the Supreme Court level. Which plays into what I said before... "But you can appeal to the higher courts and overturn the lower courts decision. Trump is throwing out whatever he wants to see if it will stick. If it doesn't work, then he knows he has a shot at fast-tracking to the conservative Supreme Court." Next...
  19. But you can appeal to the higher courts and overturn the lower courts decision. Trump is throwing out whatever he wants to see if it will stick. If it doesn't work, then he knows he has a shot at fast-tracking to the conservative Supreme Court. Smart... He knows many of his actions won't pass muster on the first go-round with liberal lower courts which forces the hand of the Supreme Court to hear and rule on these cases. With a majority of conservatives on the court, he has a good chance of getting what he wants - at least in many instances...
  20. At first glance, I thought you were referring to BLM, the Alphabet people, #MeToo & Covid vaccinations... Lol.
  21. Interesting Statistic Professions with the highest suicide rates (2023-2024 numbers): 1. Medical Doctors 2. Dentists 3. Police Officers 4. Veterinarians
  22. The reason I would disagree is that this administration needs to set themselves apart from previous ones. Show that potentially dangerous missteps have equally serious consequences. Sometimes examples have to be made and a "sacrifice" may have to be made for the greater good.
  23. Straightforward answer: Whoever made the careless mistake should be demoted or let go. Straightforward comment: Your reference to calls for Hillary to be held accountable vs. this current debacle is night & day.
  24. Ma'am, with all due respect, you really should excuse yourself when a reference to "dimwits" seems appropriate to you. Wouldn't want to get caught up in your own crossfire...
