  5. CB’s response to a common analogy: ”That’s like comparing apples and oranges” CB: Well, it’s not a good analogy. Oranges are a citrus fruit and apples or not so their texture is nothing alike. Many people like eating an apple peel, but virtually no one eats an orange peel as they’re bitter and nasty although some people might use the zest for flavoring. What is really telling is that apple seeds are dark whereas orange seeds are virtually white. Furthermore, apples can be red, green, yellow, and maybe other colors but oranges are orange, hence the name of the color.

  9. I am retired. Doing this on my own leisure. I was asked by the owner and several local coaches to continue handling business here. Just doing it in a smaller role. Retired or not, I did say that I would continue to post on the site. Sorry to disappoint you.

  13. This was the weakest I’ve seen the Southland conference in many years. But I thought McNeese may have been good enough to compete and get a tourney win because they were that much better than the rest of the league. Apparently not. Getting run out of the gym. I did tell someone they wouldn’t been a solid double digit dog against that ACU team that beat Texas a few years ago in the first round. That team was significantly better than McNeese, but so was the league then when you had Sam Houston, SFA, etc.

  25. Sneed would be an amazing coach to take over the Bruins. Thomas is a good coach but his heart wants to be at United. He should go there and be the heir apparent to Green.
