  1. I base it on giving up 42 to WOS, most in the 2nd half and giving up 31 to an always overrated Silsbee team

  2. 2 weeks left in regular season and it's getting tight at the top. Aggies is making his typical climb. We also have 14 that beat the expert ??? this week. He's getting tired lol

  5. From Newton facebook For those tracking Newton running back KJ Porter's pursuit of the career rushing yards record for Newton, last night against Warren KJ had 7 carries for 132 yards and 3 touchdowns. That gives him 650 carries for 6373 yards and 99 touchdowns. That leaves KJ 225 yards behind Anthony Byerly's record of 6598 yards. Continued good luck KJ. Purple Pride Never Dies!!

  7. Youtube for DCTF Thursday game. Friday night at Dan R Hooks for the return of his disciples. Might check the view from the visitor side. That would be a 1st for me. CT too. Saturday Lamar is away. So its gotta be for vehicle maintenance day before the long drives for playoff time. Old Blue needs some love and attention.

  9. Agreed. TXC will not be able to move the ball against NED. Get the ball to #10 and #8 and get the kids to recharge thier batteries and avoid the human nature effect of a letdown that usually comes after MCM hype and NED will win by three or four TDs.

    Hardin at Woodville

Hardin could go from the 1 seed to the 4 seed in 2 weeks.

  11. Maybe you're thinking last year. West Columbia is d1 with Sealy and Bay City

  12. With the history of these two teams, it could go either way.

  15. I think the West Sabine vs West Hardin game will be closer than 35 points. If WH catches a few breaks it could be a very interesting game. Deweyville has scored 20+ points once this year (Kelly) against an opponent that wasn't a home school team or just brought football back this year. I think Colmesneil wins by 3+ scores to set up a show down with West Sabine with the district title on the line.

  18. Athens is a dangerous team, they were a regional finalist last year...they lost to Carthage twice and in the first meeting only lost by 5...Athens def has the stronger SoS with a win over Pine Tree on the resume and a win over a much improved Henderson bunch....I'd place them as a favorite over Canton and a favorite in Rd 1 over the 4 seed I've actually seen Canton in person...their QB is a player, but my biggest concern aside from SoS is a lack of overall team speed, especially on defense....Madisonville is no pushover as a 3 seed either IMO

    Week 8

What a cardiac game. Texas wins 34-27. Hope that moves us up 6 games since several ranks lost today.

  20. I don’t think Texas City’s defense can handle Nederland’s run game, and Texas City certainly doesn’t do anything on offense Nederland can’t handle. Nederland’s going to win around 42-14

  22. If the Bulldogs lose to Texas City that they never play good, they will be 3rd or 4th and either travel to Huntsville are Montgomery and be 1 and done. Must win the last 2 to come in 2nd Friday is going to be crucial for the Bulldogs sue hope they’re not flat. DL pretty good however OL is not

  23. Nederland has improved since last year. They are very physical upfront on both sides of the ball. We lucked out with the win with the very predictable play calling like every week.

  24. C.E. King was added to an exclusive list with last night’s decisive win over North Shore. The Panthers joined Summer Creek as the only teams to beat the Mustangs in district play since 2017. North Shore is 61-2 in district games during that span. After going 0-10 against the Mustangs since 2016, C.E. King finally secured its first win over the defending state champions and is alone in first place in District 17-6A.

  25. How's that fake BMT Bowl trophy yall got? It turned green yet? The real one still over here in Port Arthur where it belongs and will stay in Port Arthur after next Friday for the 3rd straight season. ☕ Gonna make it a traditional thing of sweeping Beaumont ISD on the gridiron and kidnapping that trophy 🏆

Not surprised. Unbelievable! The Kobeissi Letter BREAKING: The average cost of a family's annual health insurance premium in the US is up +$1,303 YoY, or +5%, to a record $28,303. This marks the 4th consecutive annual increase of at least +$1,300. Over this period, the average annual premium for tamily coverage has surged + $5,884, or +26%. To put this into perspective, CPI inflation has risen +13% over the same period, or half as much. Since 1999, the average health insurance premium for a family has soared +$22,494, or +387%. This represents an average annual growth rate of +6.1%, well above CPI inflation at + 2.6% over the same period. Health insurance has never been more expensive.

  28. Like I said earlier on either here or the PNG forum, Dayton and Nederland seem to always be a close game. They better be careful how they walk, lest they fall.

  29. This may come off the wrong way but Silsbee needs to rest. Key injuries piling up. I wouldnt look for anything dynamic here but a game to see whats left in the old cubbard.

  31. I’ll leave it at this: Silsbee played a fantastic game. They should be proud of how they performed. The defense bottled us up for most of the first half and the offense was on fire, jumping out to a big lead. At the end of the game the defense got some huge stops to put it away. On the flip side, HF showed incredible resilience. Opportunist defense and some huge plays by Broussard and company completely turned the game around. What looked like a Silsbee blowout turned into a game the horns were in a great position to win. They should be proud of how they bounced back. I consider myself to be pretty articulate, but I’m really struggling to find the right words to express just how much that blown call affected that game last night while still giving the tigers the huge amount of credit they deserve for a fantastic performance, so I’m going to quit trying. Congrats on the win, and good luck moving forward. Maybe we’ll get a chance to run it back in a few weeks.

  33. No it won’t ever get corrected! Because small, disingenuous, hypocritical, whiny Incels like yourself & your cohorts will continue to move the goalposts for what constitutes success. Under the current leadership, they’ll never win enough games or championships, never win the games the way you geniuses think they should be won, they’ll never be able to overcome y’all’s ridiculous delusions! For 40 years WOS never lost a game, never got personal foul penalties, never had a losing season 😜 I wish yall would stop all the pretenses and just say what really want to say! Really curious to see if you upstanding, “righteous “ gentleman will have any criticisms of WOS’s next opponent and their wonderful coaching staff and the great season they’re having 🤔🤨

  35. Injuries are piling up. Lost another RB for the season. Silsbee has now lost their two best RB's for the season. Having Morris play both ways (Inside LB, RB) is a lot to ask. Going to need Wilson and Tyler (who both start on the defense) to help carry the load at RB. Look for a JV player to be moved up.
